Now for my take that I created on Kaisercraft white cardstock and used Kaisercrft black to mount my photos just to make them pop a little from the background. The patterned papers I chose to  use are by Three Boys In a Rug and Webster's pages.

The layout is of my son Riley and I'm one very proud mum of his swimming achievements. He loves his swimming with a huge passion.

Distress Ink - Walnut Stain & Stormy Sky
Kaisercraft Clear Stamp - Stains

Dylusions Ink Sprays - Postbox Red & London Blue

Remember This Day

Hello all and welcome as always to my blog. Tonight I would like to show you my DT layout I have created for the latest challenge over Let's Get Sketchy. As always it is a great sketch and the rest of the design team have come up with some stunning creations to inspire you. Please call to the blog and have a look and join in the fun.

The photo I chose to use is one I took a couple of years ago at a family diary farm at Cobden. Riley was standing up on the loading ramp just looking around when I snapped the photo. I love it, just so natural with him looking at everything going on in the dairy.

I created the layout on cardstock and the patterned papers are by Kaisercraft - Scrap Yard Collection.
The other things I used were -
Kaisercraft Scrap Yard Collectables
Distress Ink - Walnut Stain
Kaisercraft Clear Stamp - Triangles

Irresistible Texture Spray - Tuxedo Black (I took the lid off the Bottle and used the pickup end)
Darice hemp - Natural Cord
Distress Marker - Aged Mahogany

Memory Maze - Chippie
Webster's Pages - Mini Alphabet Stickers

I hope you have enjoyed my take on the sketch and that I have been able to inspire you just a little. Don't forget to hop on over to the Let's Get Sketchy Blog and join in the fun. We would love to see you and your creations.

(Father and son) Moments

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog. Today I would like to show you a DT layout I have created for Let's Capture Our Memories. As always it is a wonderful sketch and I have chose to create mine using two photos of my son Riley when he was just a bub and my husband Graeme.

I love these two photos from 12 years ago. Riley made his dad so happy when he loved being in the Fiat Tractor with him. Farming is his dad love and world and when Riley smiled and was happy in the cab so was dad.

I not only love the photos but I also love the colours of this layout. The patterned papers I have used are Kaisercraft - Scrap Yard Collection and I also used the Scrap Yard Collectables. The corrugated cardboard is also by Kaisercraft and I coloured it with Distress Inks - Rusty Hinge and Black Soot.

The cute little tractor chippie is by Scrap FX (looks a little like the Fiat) I have coloured it with Viva Croco Crackling - Orange and then cloured the other bits with a black Copic. For my circle I decided to used Irresistible Texture Spray - Tuxedo Black. I love this spray as it has a great finish to it. As you can see I didn't spray with it, I took the spay top off and used the end like a pen and run it around, dipping it in and out of the spray.
For the words they were cut from the Kaisercraft papers and I inked them with Distress ink - Rusty Hinge so they matched in a little better.

The arrow chippie is also from Scrap FX and the Moments word is a Dusty Attic chippie and both have been coloured with the same as the tractor, Viva Croco Crackling - Orange. At the top the Chevrons are from the Scrap Yard sticker sheet and I place one of the collectables over the top and used it as part of the Title.

I hope you have enjoyed popping into my blog as much as I have enjoyed calling. Please call to the Let's Capture Our Memories Blog to have a look at the other design team ladies work. Don't forget to join in on the fun.

Family Memories

Welcome crafty friends to my blog. The layout I would like to show you I have created for my DT post at 123 Challenge Blog. I just loved this challenge as that is just what it was for me. I'm not normally one to use gold but I'm more than happy with how my layout has turned out.

The photo was taken when the boys and I had been out to lunch and then had some fun taking photos together. Lots of laughter and fun, just what I like.

Below is the requirements for the challenge.

I have used the colour gold, and my stitching is done by hand with a journal pen and the word Family is in my title.

Special Teddy

Hello crafty friends and as always welcome to my blog. Things have been super busy at my neck of the woods with mum and the boys. I do love the busy as it is where I'm at my best I think, but I could do with the busy mum bit for a different reason.

The layout I would like to show you today is of my mum and her very special Peter McCallum Teddy Bear that would look after her when the boys and I couldn't be in Melbourne with her. It is wearing her Peter Mc Hat. All the money raised from the Teddy and the hat goes straight back into the things the patients need. Every single cent of it and that is so important.

The layout has been created for the sketch challenge over at Let's Get Sketchy and it is for the awesome sketch below. Please call to the blog and have a look at the other wonderful creations from the rest of the design team and hopefully between us you will be inspired to join in this month.

Below is my take and the patterned papers I chose to use are by Kaisercraft - Chase Rainbows Collection. Of course the beautiful lady is my mum (Helen) and Peter Mc Bear.

For this post I will list the product I have used and wont go into lots of reading for you as I have used quite a few different things on this layout.

Washi Tape
Black Journal Pen
Modeling Paste
Copics - RV34, E04, B24, BG09
Distress Marker - Iced Spruce
Irresistible Texture Spray - Wedding Dress

Kaisercraft Collectables - Teddy Bears Picnic
Kaisercraft Tiny Alpha Stickers - Blue Heaven
Pearls
Prima Stitching Stamp
Archival Ink - Jet Black

 Kaisercraft - Vine Die
Graphic 45 Patterned Paper - Typograph (For leaves)
TCW Stencil - Gothic Romance

Prima Flowers - Vinetta Meadow
Little Birdie - Petite Daisies - White

Is this not one beautiful and strong mum. Every single day she fights and every single day we pray with her for another day. She fights hard for Riley and Harley and God grants hers and our prayers. God is mighty, God giving. I count my blessings every single day.
I love you mum, your courage and your strength.

Don't forget to hop on over to the Let's Get Sketchy blog and join in the fun with this great sketch. Thank you so much for stopping by today and Happy Crafting. xxx
