Brenda - 1964

This was a fun LO to scrap. It was taken in my Grandfathers garden.
I was just a little girl in this photo. Seems a very, very long time ago.

I have submitted this layout into the competition at Njoyfull Crafts
Narelle as always has great color challenges. You get to do a design
from a color photo she posts. There are other requirements you need
to place on the LO and you find them on the list.

This LO has been done using papers from my bog that has left over
sets of papers. The flowers, leaves, pearls and butterfly's are four of
the embellishment requirements. I have also included as required the
title, date and I have placed my hidden journal on the back. I felt if I
put it on the front it would have looked out of place.

My flowers are handmade and the leaves are from my collection of
dies.

Meghan

Hello everyone. I hope you love this LO as much as I do. The beautiful
princess in the photos is Meghan the daughter of a friend of mine.

I decided to scrap these photos of Meghan after looking at the latest
challenge at Frosted Designs. The challenge was the sketch below +
things with wings. The minute I read it I knew right away what I was
going to do with Meghan's photos.

I also knew what papers I would use for my Layout as Meghans
cloths and wings would match them perfect. The papers were the
Kaiser Craft "True Romance" collection. Because I design for Jo
at Scrapbookit I'm lucky enough to have so many beautiful papers
and embellishments from her on-line store.

The beautiful flowers above are no other than Manor House. The
colors are just wonderful and went so well with Meghan and the
papers.

As you can see by this close up I have used the "On This Day"
collectables as well. I know Meghan just loves butterfly's and
birds. In-fact she loves all animals and has a few of her own.
The letters for her name are American Thickers.

Diary

Hello everyone. This is my latest DT post for Scrapbookit
I'm so happy with how this Diary has come up and I enjoyed
doing it. The papers I used were just fantastic. They are no other
than Kaiser Crafts - On This  Day Collection.

As you can see from the close ups I just love to fussy cut and when I
have papers like these to work with I just can"t resist.  They were so
beautiful to work with and so pretty.
The diary and rings are also from Kaiser Craft.

For Kaiser Craft stock you can just hop on over to Jo's store at
Click on the link at the top for the on line store and you will go
straight there. Jo has many other items and brands. If you don't
see what you are looking for just send Jo a message.

The "On this Day Collection" can be used for so many different things.
My last layout for Scrapobookit  was from the same range. In a couple
of days I will be posting some cards I have made from them too.

The back is the final of this project. Please hop on over to
Scrapbookit  and check out my work along with the other
DT girls. Leave us a comment, we would love to know you
have called by.

Also remember to check out this months Challenge. There
is still time for you to join in. This months Challenge is a
sketch designed by myself. I'm sure you will like it.

Hope to see you have called. Happy Crafting everyone
Hugs

Mothers Love

I just loved doing this DT layout for Scrapbookit.  Jo has great
products in her store that I get to use and these ones from the
On this Day Collection by Kaisercraft are no exception to that.

The June Challenge is a sketch which I designed and the theme
is "Mums the Word". Your layout can be about you as a mum or
your mum. It can be about Mothers Day or like mine, any other
day you want to share about that one special person....."MUM"

That's the only two requirements for this challenge. The sketch
and "Mums the Word". If you are like me you will find this a very
easy challenge. I always find it easy when it comes to my mum.

As you can see, the sketch isn't hard but you should find it a
lot of fun.

Everything on my layout is from the Kaisercraft range except
for the Twiddleeybitz chipee in the above photo. I have used
two dies, the doily and the envelope in the bottom photo. I
decided to place my journal in an envelope this time. Everything
else has been either fussy cut from the 12 x 12 papers or the
sticker sheets.

So please hop on over to Scrapbookit  check out the other DT
work and join in the fun. Have a chance at a great prize and while
there don't forget to check out the store. Great items and prices.
Remember though if you don't see what you are looking for, e-mail
Jo and she will help you out. She has way to much to list it all. If
she did that we would never get to see her awesome work. There
would be not time for her to get any done. :)
Hugs and Happy Crafting.

Happy Birthday - Card

I just love working with these stamps and my chalks.
The stamp is La-la lands "Lil` Rocker Luka"
The chalks are from Stampin` Up and of course the
papers are from my scrap box. My New Years resolution
is in action again. Use them scraps.

I have decided this card is going into the draw for my
son Riley. He loves playing his guitar so I'm sure he will
like this card.

I have placed it in the anything goes challenges at
and

Congratulations - Card

I have been enjoying some quiet time the last few days
making some cards and just watching the TV. It means
out with the scrap bag, my 3D sheets from Scraptopia
and off I go.

I just love these 3D butterfly's. They are beautiful colors.
I'm thinking now that maybe I should have put them on a
LO. But I'm happy with the card.

I have also placed it in the Anything Goes Challenge at
