Beautiful

I created this layout today of my girlfriends husband Mick
and their beautiful daughter Meghan. From the time I looked
at this photo the first thing that come to mind was beautiful.

I have created it to the challenge over at Scraping Outback.
It is the September 13 sketch challenge.

The patterned papers I have used are Bella - Boutique. On the back
ground I sprayed with Dylusions - Postbox Red and Black Marble
over a chicken wire sheet from Scraptopia and then removed it.
I then used my Kaiser Craft stencil - Chevron and modelling paste.
Once it was dry I then placed the stencil back over the top and inked
with Versa Color - Pinecone and Rose Red.

The hearts at the top behind the patterned papers are Charley's Cache -
Normandy Heart Doilies. I then inked them with the same two Versa
Inks. The chicken wire is made by Scrabtopia.

The rhinestones are from Prima - Say it in pearls. The flowers are
Manor House, Bo Bunny Blooms and Kaiser Craft. I think they are
all a lovely mix together. The heart/beautiful tag/title I fussy cut
from Webster's - Hello Beautiful paper. Last is the vintage trinket
Love by Prima.

U R My Ace Of Hearts

Afternoon Ladies and welcome once again to my blog.
At the moment I'm enjoying feeling better after my stay
in hospital and very much enjoying school holidays with
my two beautiful boys.

I'm also loving the extra time I'm getting at more work
desk. It not only gives me time to check out the challenges
and what is going on with everyone but gives me the time
I want for creating. So here is another of my creations and
this one I have done for the challenge at My Sweet Earth.

As you can see it is a color challenge and this
is what I have come up with.

To create my card I have used metallic card stock. The patterned
papers are from Basic Grey and Kaiser Crafts - Timeless Collection.
It is from the Kaiser collection paper that I cut my ace of hearts card.
The rub-on letter on the card are from BTDT alpha rub-on. The two
inks I used on the patterned papers are Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Peeled
Paint and Versa Color - Black.
The flowers are Cre8tiv paper flowers and Porta Craft paper flowers.

My Little Cup Cake

Hello Ladies and once again welcome to my blog.
The LO I have to show you today is off a friends
daughter Meghan. You will get too see a few LO of
Meghan and the rest off the family over a period off
time as I'm making an album for them.

It is lovely to get to do some girly pages when in my
home as you all know it is a boy zone. Miss Meghan
is my little ballet princess and a sweetheart.

I created this LO for the challenge at Creative Scrapper,
sketch challenge #251 and also for the challenge at
Frosted Designs in which I was required to add texture to
my LO. I did this using my stencil.

This is my take on the sketch.

The blue and red patterned papers I have used are from Basic Grey
and my layout is done on white Kaiser Craft card stock. The circles
and stars have been been cut from my dies and I used a little Versa
Color (80) white ink on the edges and my black marker pen to hand
stitch on them as well. On the photo I used a Kaiser Craft rub-on.

The title is Cre8tive letters. On my background I used a TCW stencil -
Mini Tiny Circles. I just love the TCW stencils. They are great for using
modelling paste or inks. On this layout I chose to use the modelling paste.

Once the modelling paste was dry I then used my blending tool with Tim
Holtz Distress Ink - Faded Jeans, Mustard Seed and Fired Brick. I then
sprayed with Dylusions Ink Sprays - London Blue and Post Box Red.

Hope you have liked my creation of the beautiful Miss Meghan.
Even with all the sugary mess on her face she is still cute.

Christmas Cards

I hope you like these 3 cards that I have made. The first two
have chippies on them from Scraptopia who I design for.
Kylie has not long started the extension of her business and
she now makes chippies. If you pop on over to her blog/store
and check them out. They are just awesome. Hopefully it
wont be too long and they will be available in other stores too.

Also on the three cards I have used American Crafts glitter
Card stock. I have used quite a few glitter card stock and this
one has so impressed me. It is great to work with. You are
not left with glitter everywhere. Yay I say. It cuts beautiful and
is also great to use a rub-on on.

Tag and Cards

Hello everyone. I'm on the mend from my week in hospital.
Back at the scrap booking desk. The tag and cards are for
my DT position at Scrapbookit. If you get a chance pop over
to the blog and check out what we have been up to. Also check
out the store. The things I use on my DT work for Scrapbookit
can be got from Jo.
The only extras I have used are my dies.

I have created some cards and a tag to show you the different
things that can be done with the awesome Graphic 45
Bohemian Bazaar Collection.

I love to fussy cut and I do it every opportunity I get. By
now you would have guessed that from my work. I love to
get as much out of my papers as I can.

I love how the guitar has come up on this card.
On the guitar I used modelling paste. I applied it with my
finger, making sure it was not smooth. Once completely dry
I then used a makeup sponge to apply Tim Holtz Distress Ink.
The colors I used were Fired Brick, Peacock Feathers and
Mustard Seed. These three colors are very bright and go so
well the paper range. The closeup below is to help give a better
idea of how I achieved this look.

The cards above and below are Graphic 45 papers, Kaiser
card stock, ribbon and again my dies. Also ink and Kaiser
rhinestones. again I have fussy cut on each one.

Travel

I loved doing this challenge. I do so many LO with people
in them and this one I is a photo taken on our trip too the
Victorian Grampians.

The challenge I have completed it for is over at Bird Is The Word.
The challenge was to use the word Travel/Explore. As you can see
I chose to use the word travel.

I have used cardstock and my patterned papers are Prima's
Reflections Collection "Shimmer" and Kaiser Crafts Marigold
Collection. The Magpie and grapes/leaves I fussy cut from
Feature Arts Golden Memories - Southern Journey range.

The cog, spoke wheels, rings and the word travel are
from a newly formed chippie business called Scraptopia.
The owner Kylie has many chippies to pick from and they
are all wonderful. I chose these ones and colored them with
my brown Copic (E47) because I felt it give them an old out
door look. I hope you like my latest LO and there is still time
for you to drop over and join in the challenge at Bird Is The Word.

I distressed the Prima paper and then used Distress Ink - Gathered
Twigs on the edge as well as the edges of the other papers.
The stamp I have used is Kaiser Crafts - Rocks which fitted so well
with the rocks in the photo. The word Victoria was from Kaiser rubon
letters.

Autumn

Hello everyone. The last week has been a busy one for me.
I have been cleaning out the scrap room and also doing some
scrapping of a night. I have a couple of posts to put up over the
next couple of hours. Between taking my son Riley to swim training.

This is my first one and I have used card stock and Kaiser doily's.
Everything else is from my scraps box. Bits and pieces off left overs.
I have done this one for the challenge at Scrapping Everyday Miracles.

I had so much fun with my boys the day this photo was taken. We
went to the botanical gardens and the boys rolled in the leaves and
were throwing them at each other as well as me. The laughter and
and happiness was so contagious. Everyone who went passed either
smiled or made comment.

When taking the photos I had already decided that I wanted to
use some of the leaves on my layout. I collected a few and took
them home with me. I then had too decide how I was going to use
them on a layout and stop them from crumbling.

The leaves I have added to this LO were from that day. About a
week after I had decided. I would laminate them. They would then
hold the color they were when I picked them up. Also they would
stay intact. I did them and put them away. I found them while cleaning
the scrap room and this is what I have come up with.

As you can see by the close up I have cut around the edge
of the leaves, just out a little. I didn't want to brake the air
tight seal. There is no chance for any deterioration of the
leaf then.

The challenge at Scrapping Everyday Miracles was to create a LO
about your favorite season. I never know which is my favorite, there
is something I love about each one. I chose this though because I was
lucky and found the leaves and it was a special day of love for both the
boys and I. The twist too this challenge was I had too add 3 or more
leaves. I knew when I read this I had the right thing for the challenge.

I have done some journaling on the back of the layout. Just a little short
story for my boys later, about how the day made me feel and a reminder
to them of how much fun it was.

Shes No Witch

This is my latest creation of friend Jodie. I had so much fun doing
it, I kept thinking how much we were laughing instead of scraping
because no one else was having this problem.

It didn't matter what position she sat in or I was in taking the pics,
how close or far away, they all come out the same.....red eyes.
I decided that it was much more fun too leave them this way.

I created this LO for my DT challenge at Scrapbookit. Mel set this
months challenge and what a great choice she made.

The challenge is all about a chippie (done), using up old
rub-on in the background (done) and I used a few of them. The last
thing was too make an embellishment. I just knew straight away what
I was going to need on this layout. I couldn't go past making the black
cat, witches hat and the broom stick.

The papers I have used on this layout are no other than the beautiful
Graphic 45 -  Bohemian Bazaar Collection. I have fussy cut the flowers
from the papers. The flourish is from WOW and I colored it black with
an acid free marker. The title are American Thickers - Sunrise. They are
a natural sticker letter.
