Heart Frame.

Hello all and welcome once again to blog. My Beyond
The Page Heart Fame has been made for an extra post
over at Scrapbookit. I had so much fun doing it, but it
comes to paper etc there isn't much I don't love doing.

I used the beautiful  Violet Crush Collection by Kaiercraft and
what I liked most was the fact it has so much purple. Purple is
my favorite color.

The flower in the center I fussy cut and the wording is from the
collectables from this range. I used 3 different kinds of Kaisercraft
wooden flourishes - Pennants, Butterflies and Owls.

The Kaiser craft paint is Burgandy and the flower blooms and the
mini blooms are also by Kaisercraft - Grape. I have inked all the
edges with brown.

This is a great range of papers and I have used it a couple of times
now and been happy each time. So until my next post happy crafting.

DT Application for UmWowStudio

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog. This post is for my application
to UmWowStudio DT post. I have had some trouble deciding what I
should choose to showcase my work. I hope I have come up with three
LO that have wow factor :)

"We Are Family"

My first chose is the above LO because it is a mixed media and I have used
many chippies on it. Title, Lighthouse, anchor, sea animals and sea shells. It
is one of my favorite LO. Modeling Paste, Inks and Copic Pens have been
used on the different chippies. For the original post please click on the link.

"Love Each Moment"

My second choice has 3 chippies on it the top Boarder, title and the
bench seat. I chose to color them with a Green Copic Pen as it matched
well with the green in the photo. The reason I picked this LO is because
I love how the bench seat fits with the photo and I was able to fussy cut
my son to sit him on it. Again for the original post please click the link.

"This Is What Awesome Looks Like"

My third choice was no easier to pick than the others. There is always
something that I love about each LO and I'm then left hoping I chose
right. This LO has a title chippie and the cogs chippie. I decided on this
one as it shows a different style of showcasing them. I think the steampunk
title and cogs were just perfect for the LO. The same as the other two
please click the link below to have a look at the original post.

"Dream"

My final piece for submission is my Off The Page 3D wall art. I have
covered the fence panels and the bird on the branch with 12x12 paper.

Ok so my hard choice is made. Now let's hope it is the right one. Thank
you for joining me again at my blog.

Crazy Good

I have been so looking forward to showing you this LO of a
friends daughter who I drive to school. She is such a sweet
young girl and the title is just perfect for her. She is one crazy
girl but so good. She makes me smile and laugh every day. It
is kids like Rachael who make me love my job.

I have done this LO for DT at Let's Capture Our Memories and I
also made it from the Challenge at Orange Paperie & Co using their
color image for inspiration.

Rachael's mum did her hair for Crazy Hair Day at school. I have
such a huge love for these kids doing there bit to help fight cancer.
My mum was so proud of her too.

I created this LO for my latest DT post at Let's Capture Our Memories.
Make sure you call over and have a look at what the other DT girls have
created for this awesome sketch challenge. Challenge #73 is loads of fun.

The awesome chippies are by Scraptopia and so is the great stencil.
I colored the chiipies with Copic - Dark Pink RV34. The patterned
papers are by Kaisercrafts - Precious Moments. The flowers have
been fussy cut from the patterned papers.

On the stencil I used Vintage Ink by Kaisercraft and for the edges
of the papers I used Kaisercrafts Brown. The punch used is by Fiskar.
I used a fine balck journal pen for the stitching.

How Time Flies

Welcome as always to my blog. This DT layout is for Scrapbookit
I enjoyed doing it even though they arephotos of me lol. I always have
a hard time scraping myself, but there are times where they seem to
come together ok too. I hope you like this LO though.

I have used the beautiful soft pastel patterned papers by Prima. I chose
to use them on black card stock and think it has really shown them up
well. The title chippie is by WOW, I used white ink on it and them lightly
over that I used a green and yellow. The only other ink I used is
Kaisercraft - Bark on the edges of my patterned paper.

The birds and the clock are fussy cut from Kaisercrafts - Timeless
Classics Collection. My stitching is with a black Journal pen.

The gorgeous larger flowers are by Manor House and the small buds
are by Kaisercraft. The green twirly bit are easily made from the wire
stems off the Kaisercraft flowers. The wooden flourish, Oval Lace
Frame is also by Kaisercraft.

Cute

Welcome to my blog post for Let's Capture Our Memories.
The sketch challenge this month is a great one. Make sure
you pop on over and join in the fun.  Have a look at the
other DT takes on the sketch.

This is my take on the sketch.

The patterned papers I used are Kaisercrafts "Lavendar Haze", they
were just perfect for these pictures of my girlfriend Mels daughter
Meghan. I love scraping LO of her. It's so much fun after my boys :)

The Beautiful chippies on this LO are by Scraptopia. I colored them with
Copics.  I have also used the Kaisercraft - Lavendar Haze Sticker sheet.
The white flowers are by Kaisercraft and the larger by Manor House.

I used a doily behind each of the photos. I used a die for my name
plate and also for my bud flowers. On the ends I used some 3D
paint.

Boys Will Be Boys

As you will be able to see I have been a bad girl this month.
I just don't know where the time has gone. I have been spending
my time scraping and not posting on my own blog. Bad Brenda.
I have a reason though and will reveal it soon.

For now though please check out the LO I have created for my DT
position at Treasures Forever. You can find them on my sidebar and
also on Facebook.

Yes you are seeing right. My very charming son Riley is at a party
for a friends Birthday and he is just about to shove a huge piece of
chocolate cake in his mouth whole the little devil.

He was looking to see if I was and when he new I was going to take
a pic and had seen he tried not to laugh as he paused to rethink.

The chippie is made by Scraptopia and some of the other products
I have used are - Distress stains (Rusty Hindge and Black Soot),
Fiskers punch, Modelling paste and a Copic pen (Chrome Orange).

Everything else on the page is by Kaiser Craft.
White card stock
Patterned papers - Attitude Collection
Alpha stickers
Ink - Red Gum and Black
Collectables - Attitude
Stencil - Bubbles

Well ladies I hope you have enjoyed looking at this LO and the wonderful

the products you would like.
Hugs all.

FLOWERS were always his PASSION

Hello ladies and as always welcome to my blog. The LO
I would like to show you is my creation for this months
challenge at Scrapbookit. This months challenge was set
by our Guest DT Jenn Seymour and what a great one it is,
so don't forget to drop over and join in. Jo will be giving
an awesome prize for this months winner.

This is what the challenge entails -

1 Black and White photo
2 copies of your Black and White photo (any sizes)
3 Embellishments (at least!)
4 patterned papers and a
5 word title!
I loved this challenge and I know you will too. This was my
take on it using my goodies from Jo.
I have been so lucky with my monthly pack from Jo to receive
awesome papers. She has a huge range. This months that I got
to have a creative play with are  Prima - Free Spirit Collection.
The large and medium flower are by Manor House and the
small ones I made with Kaiser Craft Paper flowers. I have
made the leaves with a die and inked the edges.

The doily is a lace sticker from Prima. It is just beautiful and to get
it to show up so nicely I placed it on a piece of grey card stock and
cut it out. The Prima papers are such beautiful pale colors I didn't
want the doily sticker lost in them. The lovely silver butterfly's are
also available in store at Scrapbookit.
The letters for my title are by Kaiser craft. The ink I used on the
edge of my papers is also by Kaiser - Bark.

This photo is of my Grandfathers flower and bulb farm. Acres
of beautiful Gladioli and Irises every year along with many other
variety's of plants.  He sold the bulbs all over the world and he
was well known.
I hope you have liked a the LO peak of my Grandfathers life. Please
jump over to the Scrapbookit Blog and checkm out what the rest of
the team have been up to. I know they would love you to call by and
don't for get to join in for maybe some of the goodies.

BAD boys - by Riley Caldow

Hello all and welcome to by blog again. Today I have a very
special LO to bring to you. This LO was created by my 11yr/old
son Riley. Riley has been on and off scraping for a few years now.
When time between school, swimming and a child's life permits.

He has been working on this LO for a few weeks now bit by bit.
I'm so proud of the time he put into this one. I think it is just
stunning. He has been watching me and getting his own ideas
how he would do it.

He asked Kylie from Scraptopia if she could design some paint
cans for him. So thanks to Kylie he got just what he had in mind.

The photos were taken in a photo booth when Graeme took the
boys to the movies. They had so much fun with the funny faces
and the boarder they used was just what Riley need and that give
him his inspiration.

He created it on white card stock and the patterned papers are
by Kaiser Craft - Attitude! Collection. The acetate sheet is from
the same range. It was just wonderful how he was able to have
everything he wanted just come together at the right time.

The sprays he used to create the background are Dylusions -
Cut Grass, Lemon Zest, Postbox Red and Campaso.

To complete his chippie spray tins he used Copic Pens -
B29, G05, E29,YR04,C3 and R27. On the orange tin he then used
Derivan Matisse Ink - Carmine and Derivan Ink - Black. He then used
Archival Pigment Ink - Moonlight White on a Kaiser stamp - Rocks.
For the Blue tin he used the Kaisers - Oriental stamp.

The spray from each of the tins is Micador 3D paint - Blue, Yellow
and red.

The other embellishments he used were fussy cut from the papers
(just like mum does) and he used one for his journal tag.

This is the final pic I have taken. I'm so, so proud of this LO for a
very special reason (to me). He didn't want any help with this one
and if I offered any instruction it was "Thanks Mum, that would be
good but this is what I wanted to do". He had a plan in his mind at
WELLA - This is the outcome.

Thank you Riley (he will look at my blog at school I know) for your
interest in my interest and learning what you have by watching me
and asking questions. For enjoying Scrapbooking and creating such
a stunning LO. I love it and I love you young man. Mum XOX
