A4 folder front - Class Notes

I had a bit of a play the other day with an A4 plastic pocket. I use them to place the notes from classes I go to in and I thought it looked boring even though I do love purple. So I made this front on cardstock to put on it.

Dylusions Paint, Paint Pens and Stencils is all I used.
Now for some closeups.

Thanks for popping in and please leave a message, I like knowing what people think.
Enjoy your week. xxx

#happy

Welcome to my blog and my DT post for Let's Get Sketchy first February Challenge and what a great sketch we have for you this month.

And now for my take on it. The photo was taken last year of my two amazing sons after they had marched for the school on Anzac Day. There was a brick wall painted grey going back to the car and I took the opportunity to get some photos. They were great normal photos to begin with and then the fun began with laughter and cheeky faces. At least in this one they were standing still.

I have created the page on white cardstock and also the piece behind the photo is on white cardstock with paints. The other things I have used are stamps, stencils and a journal pen.
Now for some closeups.

I hope I have inspired you just a little and that you come and join in with us, we would love to see your take on the sketch challenge.

You Light Up My Life

Hello and a big welcome to my blog. Today I would like to share with you my DT Challenge post for A2Z Scraplets. I really enjoyed doing this challenge being the month of love with Valentines Day. What better photo could I use than one of my son Riley and his girlfriend Hannah. I must admit it is beautiful to watch their young love getting to know each other.
Now its time for the challenge and my take on it.

I have used two fantastic chippies from the A2Z store and there are so many different ones to choose from so hope on over and check it out.

I created my page on  Kaisercraft patterned paper and the flowers are by 49 & Market.

The photo is mounted on black cardstock and I have gone around it with a paint pen.
I painted both A2Z Chippies with red paint and on the solid hearts I then went over the paint with a Wink Of Stella brush - Clear (This give it a nice sparkle. Once this was dry I went around the hearts with my white paint pen.

Behind everything I used Tim Holtz idea-ology tissue paper. With I star stencil I randomly placed stars with a black paint pen and then once dry I again used my white paint pen but this time to do a star line inside the black stars. Finally around the top and bottom of the tissue paper I used my black journal pen and wrote a little bit about Riley and Hannah.

Thanks for stopping in today to have a look at my latest blog post and please leave some love, I like knowing what you think.I hope I have inspired you to come on over to the A2Z Scraplets Facebook page and join in this months challenge with us.

Nothing is Impossible

Welcome to my blog and my DT post for A2Z Scrapletts. I enjoyed doing this double page and making it bright to keep in with this months moodboard challenge at A2Z being bright and summery.
Now for my journal pages.

I used some Dylusions paint in the stunning bright colours that are in the moodboard and made sure that my Dylusions- Dyan Reaveley stamp was in keeping with summer. She sure is decked out in summer cloths looking cool with the sunglasses.

This is a great chippie for either a title or journal words. The butterfly at the edge of it I have stamped and fussy cut out.

Because my pages are so busy I decided to keep the chippies simple so they would standout. For my wording - NOTHING is impossible I chose to colour it with a dark burgundy Distress Marker.
For the Flourish I have used two different colours of green acrylic paint. First I solid painted it with a bright green and then I went and dry brushed on some aqua/green.
I think to do the chippies this way it makes them pop out from all the busyness around them.

Now for some more closeups and some of the other products I have used to create the page.

Products -
Dylusiond Paint
Archival ink
White journal Pen
Stamps
Stencils
Colour Markers
Texture Paste

Thanks for stopping in and please make sure you hop on over to the A2Z blog for loads more inspiration from the DT. Also join in the challenge with us by posting your page on the A2Z Facebook page. I look forward to seeing your creations.
