Fun In The Sun

Hello ladies. I'm just a little late putting my latest LO on my blog.
It has been up on Scrapbookit just a little to long for me not to
have it on my blog. I do have a good excuse though :) I have been
away with my eldest son Riley. He competed in the Victorian Long
Course Championships with his swimming.

I hope you like this LO. I had so much fun doing it. These are my
two beautiful sons Harley and Riley.

The patterned papers I have used on this design are Basic Grey
RSVP paper pack. They are great papers and so versatile. As you
can see I have been playing again with modelling paste, inks,
stamps and stencils.

I have used white Kaiser Craft card stock for the base. My last LO
with this range of patterned papers was a birthday and this one is
beach. Way different but it shows how great these papers are.

The products I have used to create this layout are - Kaiser Craft
Hessian stamp, Tim Holtz Distress Stains Black Soot & Rusty Hinge,
Ranger Acrylic Paint Dabber Snow Cap & Mushroom. Dylusions Ink
Spray - Lemon Zest, Tattered Angles Glimmer Mist Forest Green.

Tim Holtz Distress Ink Black Soot & Walnut Stain (on stamp).
Then there was as i said Modelling Paste, Kaiser Craft stencil
"Bubbles" The beautiful Kaiser Craft chippie - Castle, Butchers string
and also The rub-on is from Kaiser Crafts family sheet. The title
chippie below is an  A2Z Scraplets.

Don't forget to drop over to Scrapbookit and check out the other DT
girls work. There are lots of awesome things to see. There are also a
couple of  cards and tags from this same paper range I posted with
this LO. We would love to see you.

Live Like A Cowboy

Welcome again my crafty friends. I have been very busy
at the craft desk these holidays. I have enjoyed the late
nights getting some work done and my days with the boys.
I have also been lucky to have had a week away with them.

Tomorrow I head off to Albury/Wodonga with my eldest son
Riley for three days. He has been lucky (with hard work) to have
qualified for the Victorian Country Long Course Championships.

I thought that I had better get this LO of my youngest son Harley
posted and placed in the challenge at 123 Challenge Blog before I
left. It is a three part challenge and I had so much fun doing it.

This is my take of the 123 Challenge and the tree requirements.

This pic of Harley was taken at our farm a couple of years ago.
He was sitting on a log in the morning sun. He wasn't doing
anything and nor did he appear to be looking at anything in
particular either. I went and got the camera and clicked away
and he didn't even notice. When I questioned him he had been
deep in thought. It was so cute.

The card stock and patterned papers I used on this LO are from my
scrap bag. Yes I'm still working an last year resolution. I have used
some craft feathers and on some of the papers I have inked the edge
with Tim Holtz Distress ink - Black Soot. The title letters are Tickers-
Nut Meg and Lark.

The boot has been painted with a mix of colors and I used
my American crafters marker pen to do the heal and sole.
The spur on the boot I used silver glitz. The boot chippies
was designed and crafted by Scraptopia.

The cowboy title, horse and cowboy and also the horse
shoe chippie are also designed and created by Scraptopia.
I painted the title and then used Tim Holtz Distress Crackle
Paint Clear - Rock Candy over the top. On the Horse shoe
instead of the paint I used Copic E08 and then I placed some
copper glitz over it. With the horse and cowboy I used Copic
E33 and left it natural.

Well I hope you like my LO of my deep in thought little man.
There is some time left so hop over to the 123 Challenge Blog
and join in the fun.

Little Darlings

Hello Crafty friends and welcome once again to my blog.
I would like to show you today a LO I have completed for
the challenge at Scrap Around The World.

It is a mood board challenge and to look at the pictures it
is very much the beach. I couldn't get my Graphic 45 papers
and some photos I had of my son Riley out of my head. I had
to go with them. When I looked at others on the Scrap Around
The World blog I noticed I wasn't the only one who got a feel
for something different for the mood board.

This is my design based on the colors.

The patterned papers are Graphic 45 - Little Darlings. I used a
Kaiser Craft card stock off white to create my LO on. The outside
boarder was cut from the patterned papers and I raised it up with
dimension tabs. It famed the LO well and give it depth.

The title, flowers, bird and beautiful baby I fussy cut from the
papers. I then used dimension tabs to raise this section up as well.

The ornate frame I placed my beautiful sleeping son
is from Kaiser Craft.

The Doily is one that belonged to Riley's Grandma and yes I had to
cut it up to . It was for a good reason though :)
I punched and cut out my Graphic 45 papers and then lightly inked the
edges with Tim Holtz distress ink - gathered twigs.
The beautiful pram is from Kaiser Craft.

I hope you have liked my LO for the challenge at
Scrap Around The World.
Please pop over and have some fun with the challenge too.

Cherish The Memories

Hello ladies, I hope you have all had the time to get
as much crafting done as I have this last week or so.
This LO I have done is for the Challenge at

Kaiser Crafts card stock was my base and I created from there.
The patterned papers I used were Kaisers - Lady Rose collection.

On my back ground I used Mister Huey's Color mist -Pretty Pink
and Mint Julep. Ranger Acrylic Paint Dabber - Snow Cap and
Mushroom. Acrylic Paint - Wine and also Tim Holtz Distress Stain
- Picket Fence, Spun Sugar, Rusty Hinge and Tattered Rose. Plus the
one thing I'm having a lot of fun with - Modelling Paste.

I punched out the tag, inked the edge with Tim Holtz Distress Ink -
Black Soot. The flourish is designed and created by Scraptopia. I
painted it with Wine acrylic paint and placed a Snow Cap over it.
I then put Glossy Accents over the top to finish it off. The flowers
are Prima.

The Prima flowers are just beautiful. The Memories rub-on is from
Kaisers - After Five Collection. The stencil I used is Mayer Road.
The Cherish the Memories chippie is another from Scraptopia. I
colored it the same as the flourish. The beautiful big flower with the
lovely gold center is from Couture creations Treasures Flowers,
which are also very beautiful.

The beautiful cherub is a Prima Shabby Chic Resin. I ahve also
string on the LO and some burgundy Abaca.

I hope you like the LO and please hop on over to Once Upon A
... Sketch and join in the challenge. I know you will have as much
fun as I did.

Joy

Hello ladies and welcome as always to my blog and
my second DT post for Let's Capture Our Memories.

I hope that everyone has been safe and well since my
last post. We have been having some extremely hot
weather in my little space of the world at the moment.
Some areas have been having very bad fires. In other
parts of the world I have friends snowed in and freezing.

Where ever you are or what ever you are doing I hope
you are well and been able to find time to craft. Now for
my post. XXX

Sketch #55

This is my take of the sketch.

I love getting the boys to have their photo taken with Santa each
year. Riley is now 11 and Harley 10 and I know in my heart that
things are going to change next Christmas. A sad time for me to
face that my boys are no longer baby's and time has come.
Like I say on my journal though....I hope they are never to big to
sit with Santa for me and get their photo taken.

I created my design on Kaiser Craft card stock. The patterned
papers and collectables are also from Kaiser. They are the Twig
and Berry range. I love these papers. The old feel about them.
Across the top I used Webster's Fabric Ribbon and  placed a strip
of the patterned paper over the top. Across the bottom I used a
different patterned paper strip and Music Washi Tape.

Some of the other products I used are Tattered Angles Glimmer
Mist Spray - Forest Green. Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Fired Brick.
The stitching on the patterned papers I have done by hand. I like
to do some hand stitching sometimes.

The beautiful title chippie is designed and created by Scraptopia.
I have heat embossed it with gold. My letter/journal tag is meant
to be smudged :) I thought it added a little to it. I played with
pens till I found the one that would do what I wanted.

The other DT girls have their designs up too, so please hop over
to the Let's Capture Our Memories Blog. We would love to see you
call by. Please leave some love so we know you called. Also join in
the Challenge and have some fun. We can visit you then and leave
some love in return. Happy Crafting Ladies.

Spiderboy

Hello my crafty friends. As you can see I have been busy
these holidays. I was very lucky to receive a DT position
for Treasures Forever. Roz is a wonderful friend and I'm
looking forward to creating for her.

I love this LO, another of my son Riley. He is 4yrs/old and
Spiderman  crazy. Anything with Spiderman on it he wanted.
There were even a couple of times when there were tears just
because something wouldn't fit him that he wanted with his
super hero on it.

The patterned paper is BoBunny - "Whoo-Ligans Spiders".  The red
and black card stock are Kaiser Craft along with the stamp I used -
Rocks. I used Ranger Acrylic Paint Dabbler - Snow cap on the stamp
and stamped the Instant Phot frame chippie by Scraptopia, after I had
inked it with Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Black Soot.

The spiderweb and spider chippie are by Molossi. The web I heat
embossed with silver embossing powder and the spider I inked with
black soot and placed a red bling on its back. I then covered it in Glossy
Accents. Behind the web on the red I sprayed with Dylusions Spray Ink -
Black Marble.

The rub-on is from the Kaiser Craft - Laugh, rub-ons. The punch I used
on the black card stock is Martha Stewart. Around the edge of my LO I
used Tim Holtz Distress Stain - Black Soot. The title is Papercraft Alphabet
                                                                       - Saloon Silver.

As you can see by this pic, Riley even loved his Spiderman
drinks from the supermarket. I had convinced him not to put
his Spiderman cloths on as he would get face paint on them.

Well ladies I hope you have liked my first LO for
and also the products that I have used. Hope over to the blog
and have a look at the store. Roz is still setting things up so if you
don't see something please email her and she can help you out.

Happy Crafting.

Cherish

Hello ladies and welcome again to my blog. I
would like to show you a LO i have created
from my scraps bag and box.

Yes I know that was last years New Years
Resolution. It went pretty well I thought so
every now and again I would bring you a LO
or card that may not have many product details.

The beautiful young lady in the LO is Miss Meghan, my girtlfiends
daughter. Her mother Mel took the photo of her.

The layout has been created for my DT position at Scraptopia.
At the moment Kylie is having problems with the blog and it has
to have some maintenance done and a new blog is under constuction.

The good news is that Scraptopia is running on Facebook in the mean
time. All Kylie's new chippies and all her other products can be still
purchased through there. Yay to that.

The beautiful dress chippie is from Scraptopia. I have used texture
paste on in the pink Kaiser ink. The rub ons are also from Kaiser.
The other items I have used are -
Handmade Resin - by me
Manor House flowers
Petaloo flowers
Paper Doily

Looking Back ... in time

Hello ladies. Welcome again to my blog and let me first
start by saying sorry for not getting this post up sooner.
At the moment I'm away on holidays with my boys. We
are enjoying the coast line of Victoria at a wonderful Motel
at Warrnambool.

The LO I'm going to show you is my first as a DT member
for Let's Capture Our Memories (LCOM) It is for the January
sketch challenge and I just love the sketch. The other girls have
done a wonderful job of it as well so please hope over to the blog
and check out their work too.

http://letscaptureourmemories.blogspot.com.au/

This is my take on the sketch. It is a photo of me when I was
very young. I must admit it is a photo I like and it was taken
by my father.

The patterned papers I have used are Kaiser Crafts - Take Note
range. I distressed and ink the edge with Tim Holtz Distress Ink
- Walnut Stain . My tag bows are bakers twine.

The lovely clock chippie is from Kaiser Craft along with the felt
letters. Around the edge of the layered papers and tags I have used
Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Gathered Twigs.

The beautiful flowers I have used on this LO are by Petaloo. I
have used a few from different packs. The stamp is from Kaiser
- Hessian and the ink is Tim Holtz - Walnut Stain.

.

The resin I handmade and placed it and the flowers over a heart
lace paper doily by Charley's Cache` which I lightly inked with
Gathered Twigs to match in with the LO. The beautiful lace is by
Bo Bunny.

I hope you have liked my first LO for LCOM and I hope you will
pop over to the blog and check out the other girls work. They are
truly inspiring. Join in the fun and have a go at the sketch challenge.

Making Resins & a LO... "Love this Photo"

I like to start this post by saying Happy new Year to
you and your loved ones. May 2014 see all your dreams
and wishes come true. I hope you were lucky enough
to spend times with those you love and care about on
New years Eve.

My New Years Eve was spent with my beautiful boys
and my Mum and Dad. Just the way I liked it. My Mum
was born New Years Day so it is a very special time for
the boys and I. It's a double party :)

My New Years Day was spent with my boys Riley and
Harley at Kylie and Jeff's place. Kylie is the owner of
Scraptopia and as you all know I design for Kylie. It was
a wonderful day with the boys swimming in the pool, Jeff
and their girls lazing and Kylie and I making resin
embellishments and doing a LO. Perfect day :)

This is Kylie at work. The resins below is a sample of
what we had made. We still have to paint or stain them.
If you have never had a go at making your own resin I
can assure you we both had a lot of fun.

Now for my LO. I love this one of my son Riley. when I dropped
him off for some time with his Grandparents I forgot to leave his
sun had. So he could play (work lol) out side with them Grandma
made him a hat. Yes a hankie hat. It was so cute. The pics are not
that great as Grandma isn't that good with the camera but I love
them and they are the only ones I have.

The beautiful back ground paper is Webster's - Wonderful Playtime.
I mounted the small snap shot photo on American crafts cardstock -
Chocolate Weave. The patterned papers are Kaisers Take Note Range.
I inked around these papers with Stampin`Up ink - Soft Suede.

The collectables are also from Kaiser Take Note range. I inked the
edges with the same ink as the papers. The chippie heart and photo
frame are both from Scraptopia. The frame I have used Stampin`Up
ink - Soft Suede and on the heart I used Calypso Teal. I then used Tim
Holtz - Glossy Accents.

This beautiful chippie title is from Scraptopia. I colored it with
the Calypso Teal ink and then used the glossy accents on it.

I hope you like the chippies that Kylie makes over at Scraptopia.

I
