Believe Christmas Card

I love creating Christmas cards and I just loved doing this one for the challenge over at               Sketch N Scrap. After being so sick and finally being able to have more time in the craft room I just loved getting my create on with Christmas.

For this card I used kaiser Craft patterned papers and the Christmas tree and sentiment were from my stash. The other thing I used was a journal pen to do the stitching.

Thanks so much for stopping in and please call back again to see what I have been up too. I hope you enjoy what is left of 2019.

Mini Christmas Tag

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I'm sharing a Christmas Tag I made for this months challenge over at More than Words. I'm so proud of my self in being able to join in a couple of challenges before this month ended. I have just been to sick with the chemo to be able to spend the time I have wanted in my craft room. This last week though has seen me in there more and more so I decided it was time to do a couple of challenges. What better than a challenge with a Christmas theme.
This is the challenge and my take on it.

To create my tag I started by using a Lindy's Stamp Gang Magical on my background. I used a white journal pen to create some stitching around the edge of the tag. I used purple twine, metallic purple thread, gauze, collectable reindeer, star chippie and beautiful blue Market 49 flowers. For the word Peace I chose a Heidi Swapp sticker word.

Thanks so much for popping in and in hope you enjoy what is left of 2019.

Calenders

I just wanted to share with you some of the thank you calender's I made for the those who come and sat with me through some of me chemo. Some days were a minimum of 3 hours but could also be longer and I love each and everyone of them for their love and support.

Sorry I couldn't get better photos but I have already given them to these special people.
Good Health and love to all. xxx

I'm a Survivor

I want to make a special announcement.....

I'M A BREAST CANCER SURVIVOR

On Tuesday this week I had my last chemo with just about everyone who had come to one of my treatments. There were a couple away because they had to work. After that we all went out to dinner along with my amazing support group. I have some amazing friends who I could not have got through this as well as I have without them.
Firstly there are my to amazing boys Riley and Harley who have shown me so much love and support I cant start writing about it there just isn't enough time. I wont name each of my friends but I will tell you some of the amazing things they did for me which helped more than words can see.
Taking me to and from treatments, sitting with me and my best and lowest, to doctors, cooking meals, ironing, shopping, phone/txt every single week, bringing rubbish bin in, running boys around. These are just a few and they have been a huge help.
I not only finished my chemo but was also told I'M CANCER FREE. Riley was sitting right beside me for this wonderful news and to say there were no tear would not me true. To say it was the most wonderful news would be an understatement.  I still have to do radiation come January but I'm cancer free. I just have to let my body settle form all the Chemo.

I want to thank every single person who has shown me love and support through my journey as you have played a part in keeping me strong and fighting. I love you all.
To my family and friends I thank and love you.
To my beautiful mum who I know watches over my and gives me my strength I love and miss you. To God my guiding light, strength and faith I praise you for getting me through.

Good Health to all. xxx

The beautiful nurse front left give me my first and last chemo, along with a couple in between.

Believe

Ho ho ho and a Merry December welcome to my blog. I'm sharing with you today my DT page for the challenge over on Facebook for Sketchy Board Challenges. Its a great Sketch and its also all about Christmas. We would love to see you come and join in with us.
So now here on my blog it's time for the challenge and my take on it.

I drive a primary school bus and every year before school finishes for the Christmas holiday we have a Christmas Day on the Bus. I give all the kids a small gift and we listen to Christmas music as we travel. Up until my boys went to school they were brought along by my mum to join in the fun.

This was Harley's first year and he was just over 11 months old. His birthday is the 9th of January so the following year he was running around with his big brother and the other kids that in the years to come he would be at school with.

Well that's enough before its a novel, on with my take on the sketch and challenge.

I have created my page on white cardstock and I have used an air sprayer with my Copics to create the speckled background. I used red and green.
The patterned papers are by Kaisercraft. I just love the traditional colours.

I also used Kaisercraft collectables and two dies, one is the flourish frame and the other is Believe my title. The only other thing I used was a holly strip from a Kaisercraft sticker sheet.

Thank you for sropping in and please hop on over to Facebook and join in the challenge at Sketchy Board Challenges. We would love to see you and Merry Christmas from my family to yours.
