Easter Egg Hunt

Hello all, I'm guessing right now you are not going
to be loving me too much for reminding you all we
are so close to Easter.

I have created this LO for my DT position over at
Treasures Forever. Roz has a great on-line store with
lots of products and all the ones I use on my DT posts.

This layout is of my beautiful boys when we were
camping on our farm for the Easter brake 2012.

The chippies are from Scraptopia and available from Treasures
Forever. I colored them with Copics. Over the top on the title
I used some red Kindy Glitz. The edge of the patterned paper
I punched with a Martha Stewart punch.

My background is a patterned paper by Kaiser Craft - Distracted.
(Dazed). The other patterned papers I used were from the same
range (Woozy) and (La la land)

I used Versa Color ink - Pine Cone on the edge of my punched
patterned papers and Tags. I then used used my black journal
pen to make a stitch pattern around the edges with white and
red twine through the top.

The Easter eggs were cut from Kaiser Crafts Fine & Sunny Collection

I hope you have liked my Easter LO this year and are smiling
that I have remind you all how close to Easter we are.  :)

A Mother Love (can't be measured)

Hi my wonderful crafty friends and welcome to my blog
as always. I have had a few things I have been creating at
the moment. I have been trying to keep my mind busy with
everything that has been going on with my mum.

This LO I created for my DT position over at Scrapbookit.
I just love this kit from Fancy Pants Designs. My last post
with these same papers for Scrapbookit  was quite busy and
I thought I would tone this one done just a little so you could
see the differences. Also because my beautiful friend Mel's
son Jack is in the photo with her. Maybe not the flower shabby
chick thing :)

I have used the Kaiser Craft Hessian stamp very lightly in the back
ground with Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Black Soot. Just here and there
on the patterned paper. The chippie is from WOW and I just love it.
Every time I look at the photo though I'm now not sure if it should say
A Mothers Love or A Sons Love. The one thing I do know is that a
mothers love cant be measured <3. I chose to color it with my Copic pen.
I then covered it with Tim Holtz Distress Crackle paint - Clear Rock Candy.
The small rub-on is from Kaiser Craft.

Besides the couple of things I spoke of and my journal pen, this whole
page has been created from the patterned papers and the sticker sheet.
As you would remember from my last layout for the sketch you get
Tape sticker sheet, Sticker fundamentals sheet Label sticker sheet and the
Alpha sticker sheet. All with the 12 sheets of patterned double sided
papers. Its a great kit to create with. If its busy like my last or more  quiet
like this layout it is all there.

I hope you like this LO and please hop on over to the Scrapbookit
blog and check out what the other DT girls have been creating. While
there why not join in the months challenge. There is still some time left
to get your entries in.

Until my next post happy crafting everyone.
Hugs.

You & Me

Hello again. I said there would be more tonight so here is my
second post and yes it is different from the last one. I have liked
the chopping from one style to the other. It has been fun, fun, fun.

This LO is of my beautiful son Harley and I taken on our Holiday
to Mt Gambier. The boys and I go for a week together each year
and it is such a special time for me.

The hearts off this one were perfect for what I created.

I created this LO for the February Mood Board challenge at
A2Z Scraplets (Top) , Scrap Around The World (Above) and
also Inkido February Challenge (below). At Orange Paperie & Co
it is February the Month Of Love challenge so I have included it
here also.

I loved the hearts on both of them for this photo of the two of us.

I have used white cardstock for my background and sprayed it with
Mister Huey's Color Mist - Pretty Pink. While the ink was running I
dabbed it with a tissue and then dabbed the tissue all over the cardstock.

The patterned papers are from Kaiser Craft - Loire Valley Collection.
The paper doily I inked with Versa Color Ink - Cardinal. I then inked
the edge with Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Gathered Twigs. The heart chippie
is from Scraptopia and I inked it with Cardinal and then when it was dry
I covered it with Glossy Accents. The boarder was fussy cut from the
patterned papers keeping the floral edge attached and fussy cut also.

The You & Me chippie is from Scraptopia and I used the same method
with the ink and Glossy Accents. With the patterned papers I inked the
edges with the Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Gathered Twigs. The bird I fussy
cut from the patterned papers.

This heart from Scraptopia I used the Cardinal ink but instead of
Glossy Accents I used Tim Holts Distress Crackle Paint - Clear
Rock Candy. The word love is also from Scraptopia and I used
the same method as the others. The round tag I fut from the papers
and inked the edge. The flowers were fussy cut from the patterned
papers.

We Are Family

Welcome to my blog as always. I hope that all those who
live in Victoria have been enjoying the cooler weather. I
know that I have. I will be posting a few LO tonight that
I have done over the last couple of weeks. I have been
spending as much time at the scrap desk as I can. It helps
to keep my mind busy with all that has been happening
with my Mum.

This LO I have created for the challenge at Berry71bleu
and I had so much fun doing it. Mixed media, an area I
have just started to dabble in and find it a lot of fun. I still
like my other work so much, but to do mixed media as well
is exciting to do.

http://berry71bleu.blogspot.com.au/

I also combined it with the challenge at Scrap Friends
Challenge #22 is a color one and it also went perfect with
what I had planed for the photo of my girlfriend Mel's two
children Jack and Meghan.

This is my take of the two challenges. I hope you like it.

I have done the journal on the back of the LO. The chippies are
all from Scraptopia. It is also my DT layout for Kylie at Scraptopia.
Title, lighthouse, anchor, shells, seagull, sea animals, they are all
from Kylie.

Due to all the different things that I have used on the LO and how
I have mixed them them together I thought it might be easier if I
just list them all.The patterned paper (which is the plain blue) is by
American Crafters.

Stencil - TCW Mini Tile
Modelling Paste
Impasto Gel Medium
Copic Pens
Blue Flakes
Mica Flakes
Cotton Twine

American Crafters - POP Micro-beads (Wave and white)
Weipa Calcined Bauxite
Lang Lang 3mm Sand
Netting Strips

Tim Holtz Distress Inks - Frayed Burlap
                                      Peeled Paint
                                            Aged Mahogany
                                     Walnut Stain
                                   Fired Brick

I hope you like my LO and please let me know what you think.
All your comments mean so much to me. If you get a chance hop
over to Berry71bleu and also Scrap Friends and join in the fun
like I did. Both are great challenges whether you combine them
or do them individually.

Just Have Fun

Hello everyone and once again welcome to my blog.
The LO I have to show you is my February DT layout

I also did some combining and incorporated the sketch
at Stuck?! For the February 15th challenge.

I loved doing this Lo, I think it was because I could
remember the day I took these photos like it was only
yesterday. While I was having coffee with my mum
Riley was in the his bedroom playing. when he come
out he had made his own crown and goatee. He had
taken a sheet that mum had cut down and pegged it onto
his shirt. He found his Great Grandma's walking stick
and placed and R on it. He then come to the lounge room
with the biggest smile on his face.

"Mum, Grandma, I'm now a KING so you's can call me
King Riley, ok".

I replied... "Ok King Riley, just hold it while I take your picture".
"Mum that's ok but you have to bow. Remember I'm a king".
He was so cute. Days like that I just love. Mum and I talked about
it for so long.

The patterned papers I have used are by Authentique - "Friendship".
The red is Kaiser Craft which I used my journal pen and stitched the
edges of it. I used Liquid Pearls - Ruby Red to place dots on the edge
of one of the back ground papers. The chicken wire is from
Twiddley Bitz.

The title and arrow chippies are from Scraptopia and I inked them
with Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Fired Brick. I then placed Tim Holtz
Distress Crackle Paint - Clear over the top. when that was dry I
rubbed a little white Kaiser paint over it and then wiped it off to
leave it in the cracks.  The tags out the side of the photo were cut
from the Authentique papers.

The tag I hand made from the patterned papers. Both the crowns
on the LO are from Scraptopia. I used my Copic pens to color the
crown and then Kindy Glitz in the red and gold over the top.

I hope you have liked my take on the sketch from the challenge at
Let's Capture Our Memories and please hope on over and join in the fun.

The best bit about this LO was when I finished it and the boys had a
look as they always do Harley said, "That's great mum". Riley looked
and put the biggest smile on his face and said, "I remember that day Mum.
It was fun. I made you and Grandma bow because I was a king". xx

Happy Birthday

Another card for the challenge #109 This Is A Mans World

Again I have made this card from my scrap bag. It is a simple
card but still a lot of fun to make while using up the scraps.
The stamp I used is from Stampin`Up. I love this stamp of the
old ute. It fits right in with our life on the farm. My boys both
thought it was a good gone for their dad.

Well that's it for the craft bag for a little while. I hope you like this
card too. Don't forget to join in the challenge.
Happy Crafting and remember the scrap bag :) :)

Happy Birthday

Hello crafty friends. In the little bit of time I have had in
the last couple of weeks I was able to get this card made
from my scrap bag. I love digging into it and finding a bit
of this and a bit of that to create something.

I hope you like this card I made for the Challenge at
For this challenge the card had to be male. Challenge #109
This Is A Mans World was all about the guys :)

I have used my journal pen to stitch around the edge after
I used Kaiser Crafts Brown ink. All my papers were just pieces
from the scrap box so I can no longer tell you who they are from.
The cars I have fussy cut from the patterned paper I have used
in the back ground. I love to embellish my papers this way as they
always match in real well. Plus I love to fussy cut. :)

Lets hope my dad likes the card for his Birthday this year.
If you like to do male cards hope over to do the challenge at

Growing Up

Hello everyone and welcome once again to my blog.
I loved doing this LO for my DT post at Scrapbookit.
I had a great sketch to work with. I'm sorry I'm a little
slow with this post due to personal issues.

This is the sketch and please go to Scrapbookit and join
in this months challenge.

Now for my take on the sketch. As you can see
I chose to flip the sketch over.

This kit is from Fancy Pants Designs. Its the Collecting Moments kit
and it comes with 12 double sided 12x12 patterned papers, Label
sticker sheet, Tape sticker sheet, Fundamentals sticker sheet, Alpha
sticker sheet and also a 12x12 Navy and Grey corrugated sheet.
The flowers are from Manor House and the buds are Kaiser and I have
used some green Kaiser paint on the ends just to blend them in a little
more with the papers. The leaves have been cut from a die and I inked
the edges lightly with Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Walnut Stain. The clock
and butterfly chippie are both from Kaiser Craft. The dots from the
butterfly are Ranger Perfect Pearls.
The birdbath is Twiddleybitz and I have painted with Kaiser
Cream and the grass with Green. I then applied Ranger -
Distress Crackle Paint. The title is Black Thickers.

I made my journal tag from an embossing die and lightly inked
the edge so the embossing would stand out more. The rub-on is also
from Kaiser Craft. The bingo cards behind my baby picture I have cut
from on of the 12x12 patterned papers.

LikeI said at the start of my post, I'm a little late with posting
this. I do like to get my posts up just after they go live on the
blog I DT for. This one was out of my control. I have you have
enjoyed it and I would love you to leave me a comment and say
what you think.

Until my next post, Happy Crafting and remember to always tell
your family and friends how much you love them.

Hugs xxx

That's My Dad

Welcome as always to my blog ladies. I know that some of you
have been experiencing some very hot weather like myself and
other some extremely cold weather. I think either is a reason to
hit the scrap room and hide in there.

The Lo I'm showing you today is my DT layout for Let's Capture
Our Memories. I loved this sketch and so much fun using my
Kaiser  papers to create it.

This is the sketch. You have plenty of time to pop over to the LCOM
blog and join in all the fun. You will then be in the running for a
wonderful prize of an assortment of embellishments from the
Bo Bunny's Love Letter Collection.

I hope you like what I have come up with and you get well and
truly inspired.

The papers I have used are from the kaiser Craft - Technologic Collection.
They are great papers for boy pages. Especially little boys in this case.

As you all know I just love fussy cutting and with these robot patterened
papers how could I resist getting my cutting blade out. The two orange and
two green robots have been fussy cut. The cogs are from Scraptopia.

The robot chippie and the title are also designed and created by Scraptopia.
I have colored them all with my Copic E15 Dark Suntan pen. The color on
the chippie worked in real well with the papers.

I used Twiddleybitz bricks stencil with modelling paste. Once dry I lightly
used a sponge to ink them with Stampin' Up - Certainly Celery and Versa
Color - 154 Bark & 13 Orange. Behind my tags and title I placed some
hessian. I used a permanent black medium marker to create a boarder and a
fine point to write on my tag. To ink the edges of the torn paper I used Tim
Holtz Distress Ink - Walnut Stain.
