Grandparents

Hello ladies and once again welcome to my blog. I love
to see you call by to look at what I have been up to. This
post is my second one for the month at Scrapbookit

Once again it is with the very beautiful G45 range -
By the Sea. The two beautiful people are my Grandparents
before they were married.

I was so happy with how the black card stock made the papers
so vibrant. I have only done a little fussy cutting with this LO.
The shells and the mermaid were the only things.

On the edge of the patterned papers I have used used Distress
Ink - Black Soot. Behind the photo I used some corrugated navy
card board.

The beautiful flowers are Manor House and the leaf branch is
one of my dies. The lace boarder and top one are both the new
Fiskers AdvantEdge Punch System. Oh am I loving it. what an
awesome punch.

The title is Scrap FX and I colored it with a Copic - Cadmium Red.

Please ladies don't forget to pop over to the Scrapbookit Blog and have
a look at what the other DT girls have been up to. Also while there have
a brows through the store. Everything we use is available through Jo.

Believe

Hello Ladies and welcome back to my blog. Today I
would like to show you the LO I created for reveal

As always this is a sketch challenge over on the blog.
Sketch # 69 is up and running so please hop on over to
the blog and check out the other ladies takes on the sketch
and join in the fun of the challenge.

For my take on the sketch I chose to use Kaiser Crafts -
Enchanted Garden patterned papers. I thought they went
so well with the photo I had taken of some very pretty
Toad Stools we have grown around our area.

I decided to do the LO on black card stock as I thought it brought
the colors on the photos and beautiful papers out so much more.
The flower chippies I colored with my Copic - Cadmium Red R27
and I did the same with the Believe chippie by Scraptopia.

I mounted the photos on white card stock and then inked the
edges with red. I used a couple of white doily's behind the
patterned paper. With the flowers I placed some green patterned
paper from the Kaiser ranged at the back. In the center I used
Kindy Glitz - Crystalina and at the end of each of the points I
placed a Kaiser Craft Pearl.

The fairy is also from Scraptopia and is card stock. I placed a black
over the white. In her hand I put one of the Kaiser pearls.

Well now if you have time hop on over to Let's Capture Our Memories.
See the other work and join in the fun.

By the Sea

Hello again ladies. Since coming home from my holiday
I have been hard at work behind my scrap desk. A little
catch up has been needed on my DT work. Also so that I
can get photo's done before I start my holiday ones.
This LO is for my DT position at Scrapbookit. I just love
how it has turned out.

The beautiful papers that I got to use are Graphic 45 - By The Sea .
I just love them. I had these wonderful photos of my son's Harley
and Riley at the beach and they went perfect with the papers. Even
the name of the paper range was just what I wanted for my title. I do
have a soft spot for G45. You can get them and lots more at Scrapbookit.

As a lot of you would know I do love to fussy cut and with these
G45 papers I got to do that. The lighthouse, children in the sand,
anchor and even the title are all fussy cut.

I have used gorse which I colored with Kaiser brown ink. Some blue
hessian and thread from it. The other I used in it is simply cotton.

I have inked the edges of all my patterned papers after distressing
them. For this sketch challenge I had to use either two sprays or
paints. I chose paint and used it on my hessian and cardboard, but
I decided to use a spray too on the cardboard.

In the back ground I used a sea sponge and a Kaiser stamp - Rocks.
Don't forget though all of these things you are able to get through the
Scrapbookit store. Also if you pop over to the blog you can see what
all the other DT girls have been creating. There is great work to see.
While there don't forget to join in the fun and maybe win an awesome
prize from Jo.

Well I hope you like what I have created and don't forget to drop by
the Scrapbookit Bog.

Meghan

Hello all and welcome again to my blog. This LO
is of my girlfriends daughter Meghan. She is such
a wonderful girl and I love scraping her.

I have done this LO for my DT at Scraptopia. I have
used the wonderful chippie from Kylie. You can find
her chippies at Scraptopia on Facebook or on Ebay.

The paper I used is October Afternoon, Farm Fresh - Hay Barn.
The only other patterned paper I used was Kaiser Crafts - Sweet
Nothings Collection behind the flowers. It is all placed on
white card stock.

I have used a lot of different things on this chippie. I think it
might be best if I just list them. For the butterfly's I used Copics
- V04Lilac and V17 Amethyst. I then used Pipe Dream Ink
Embossing Powder - Aurora, Mountain Berry and Valentine.

For the flowers I used Copic B05 Process Blue and Glitzin Glamour
- Crystalina. In the middle I placed a white flower and then put a little
ink on it.

For the rest of the frame I covered it with Modeling Paste and
then used sponged ink over that. The inks I used were Versa Color
- Canary, Fresh Green and Atlantic. Also Kaiser Crafts Aubergine.

The other items I used were Kaiser rub-on and Alpha Stickers.

I hope you have liked this LO and please call over to e-bay and have
a look at the amazing chippies made by Scraptopia along with other
products including great stencils.

My Sweet Little Boy

Well ladies I'm back from my holiday in Queensland and
refreshed. Now it is time for me to do some catch up with
my DT work. The first LO I want to show you is for

Below is my take on the sketch.

The gorgeous boy is my eldest son Riley. He was 17 weeks old
in these photos. He was such I good baby, I was so lucky.

My base paper is by Graphic 45 - By The Sea Collection and I
inked the edge with Distress Ink - Faded Jeans. The chippie is by
A2Z and inked it with Faded Jeans and then sponged a little white
ink on it.

The chipboard flowers are by Craft Works. I used a lighter
blue ink on the doily. The scrapbooking mats are also by
Craft Works and I used Black Soot Distress Ink on the edge.

I used cream cardstock to mount my photos and made my
tag from navy cardstock. The edges I inked with Black Soot.
I then placed a twine ribbon at the top. Now for Riley to read
it all he has to do is slide it out.

I hope you like my take on the sketch and would love to see
you call over to Let's Capture Our Memories and join in on
the challenge. Also have a look at the other DT girls layouts.

This is the sketch you will be working with.

I loved this sketch and this is my take on it.

This LO is of my two very handsome boys Harley and Riley.

The patterned papers I have used are by Simple Stories - Summer Fresh
on a black card stock. I love these papers, you can use them on so many
LO's. I also used the Fundamentals Card stock stickers from the same
range. The paper doily I sprayed with October Afternoon spray from
Sasparilla Collection - Hitching post.

The title and the vine flourish with bird are by Scraptopia. I have used
Copics to color them. Green YG67, Brown E08, Sky B24, and also Golden
Yellow Y17. I then covered each of the chippies with Glossy Accents.

The patchwork tiles I cut using a spellbinders die. I then inked the edges
with Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Walnut stain.

I hope you have enjoyed my latest LO and are now on your way to
the Let's Capture Our Memories Blog to check out the other work and
to join in the fun.

Until next time.... Happy crafting and stay safe. XX
