Memories

Welcome to my blog, my crafty place. I'm sharing with you today my page for Off The Rails November challenge. You can find the challenge over on Facebook and there is still a little time to join in with the challenge. This month it is Boho and I'm sure you will love the challenge.
Now for the mood board and my take on it.

This is a photo of me and I would like to say it was taken this year but I don't think you will fall for the one. I'm not sure of the year so lets just say it was some time back. I think though I may have been about 10 years old.

The products I have used are -
White cardstock
Distress Inks
Chippie
Market & 49 Flowers
Boho Skull (I printed it as a photo and fussy cut it out)
Little verse (Printed out the mood board and cut out and used verse)

I love this background with the Distress Inks. All I did was put the ink in patches onto my messy mat, sprayed with water and placed my card stock on it a couple of times and this was the effect I got.

Thank you so much for topping in and please call again.

Beautiful

Hello and welcome to my blog and my post for the November challenge over at White with 1
I'm so sorry my posts are so late this month but I have been extremely unwell with the chemo now. Getting on the laptop to do the posts I know takes no energy but it is getting myself out of bed or up off the couch to do it. With the chemo now my body and mind are so tired. 2020 will be a better year and I should be able to get on top of e everything by March the oncologist has said. Yippee for me but and I'm so lucky to design for some wonderfully supportive and caring ladies.
Anyway on with the challenge and my page.
My page is of someone very special to my and I miss her a lot. Its my Oma (Grandma) who my mum now rests with. They are both my guardian angles.

My photos look a little on the grey side but they are actually black. I have been taking them with my phone and sending them to my laptop because my camera chip wont let me download at the moment. That has to wait to sort out till I'm back at work though.

The products I used are -
Distress Spray Ink
Cardstock
Mix of Patterned Papers
Leaf Die
Green Tara Flowers
Scrapmatts Chippie
Die Boarder Punch
Die Antique Clock
Die Frame

Thankks so much for popping in and please keep calling back as I love visitors.

Memories

Hello and as always welcome to my blog and the November challenge over on Facebook with Sketchy Boards. This page is of my eldest son Riley and myself.

I couldn't decide if I wanted to use this photo because of  Riley being in the pink shirt. Thought it might take away from the colour of the page challenge being blue. As you can see I did it anyway, he loves the shirt and I love him so I don't mind if he stands out lol.

As you can see I have gone off the sketch. I really don't now where my mind was when I did this DT page. I had the sketch sitting beside me, photo in hand. I kept thinking about the blue and Riley's pink shirt and all of a sudden I said use it. I did and created my page. Once finished I noticed my sketch under papers. I looked at it and thought Oh no. Because I have been so sick I knew I wouldn't get another done in time so I went with this one. For that I'm sorry but trust me I'm double checking now, but like I said my mind just wasn't in the right place.
