Do What You Love

Here I am again with my latest LO for Let's Capture Our Memories.
This months challenge #87 is a great sketch and I had lots of fun
doing it. The photo is of the beautiful Miss Meghan and her mum
Melissa (friend of mine) taken after one of Meghan's ballet
performances.

Below is my take on the challenge. Don't forget to call over to
the Let's Capture Our Memories blog and see what the other DT
girls have done with the sketch. I'm sure we will all get you
inspired  to join in.

The chippie title, both ballerinas and the ornate frame or by
Scraptopia. I have colored them with a Copic  - Cadmium Red
Except for the one I placed on the Kaisercraft envelope which I
covered with the patterned papers.

The back ground patterned paper is by Bella. The other patterned
papers I used are by Kaisercraft - Kaleidoscope. I used a journal pen
to stitch the edge of the patterned papers and I inked them with
Distress Ink - Walnut Stain.

The rub-ons are by Kaisercraft - Lady Rose and their alpha script.

The sticker on the envelope was from the Kaisercraft Sticker sheet -
Kaleidoscope.I used the Mini Alpha Stickers I used for her name
were from Kaisercraft.

I hope you have enjoyed looking at my LO and please don't forget to
call to the Let's Capture Our Memories Blog and join in the challenge.
You never know you could be the next winner.

Meghans Birthday

Hello again and welcome to my blog. I have been a little
bad with my posts the last week. It seems like I have had
so much to do and not enough time. I'm sure you all know
what that is like though. Anyway on with this post for my
DT position over at Scrapbookit.
This months challenge was a tic-tac-toe.

I chose this time the first column, Teal-Journaling-Flowers

The photo is of my girlfriends daughter, the beautiful Miss Meghan
and one of her friends Rachael who was one of Meghan's party guests.

The 12x12 Pebbles Birthday Papers were just perfect. The
colors are so nice. On the other two patterned papers I used
my dies to cut them out and then inked them with Distress
Ink Walnut Stain.

The lovely ornate white frame is by Manor House. The flowers
are by Manor House and Kaiser and I have used a little of the
Distress Ink - Walnut Stain on them. The birthday cakes have
been fussy cut from the patterned papers.

For this cluster it is again the same flowers by Manor House and
Kaisercraft and coming from behind them a Sizzix die banner.
This die set can actually make 10 different designs but I have only
used four of them.

As you can see I have chose to do my journaling on my computer
and the have cut it out after printing it on the patterned paper.
On the orange paper "it's your day to celebrate" was cut from the
patterned papers.

I hope you have enjoyed visiting again. Please leave some love and call
anytime. I love you calling over. XX

Love

Woo Hoo my first DT post for 123 Challenge Blog. I had so much
fun creating this layout. I loved the challenge, it was great to use
the girly colors.

123 Challenge Blog have great challenges that you need to include
three requirements and everything else is up to you. This months
challenge is -

Colour: Baby Pink
Word: Love
Technique: Stripes

This is my take on the challenge using patterned papers by Kaisercraft.
My background was from the Base Coat Collection (Stripes - Technique)
an the other patterned papers were from the Bundle Of Joy Collection.

Kaisercraft products used on my layout are -
Pearl flourish
Blooms - Coconut and Fairy Floss
Mini Paper Blooms - Coconut and Fairy Floss
Rub on - Love Words

Rub on - New Born
Inks - White, Petal Pink and Brown
Bundle Of Joy Stickers
Wooden Flourish - Oval lace frame
Wooden Flourish - Pram
Leaves

The only two products I used on my LO that were not Kaisercraft
were my journal pen for the year and pink pearl by Porta Craft on
my banner.

The flower on the pram and at the bottom at the rub on were fussy
cut from the patterned papers.

Harvest Time

Hello all and welcome to my blog as always. Today I would
would like to bring to you a LO I have created for my DT at
As always it has been created from an awesome sketch.

This is my take on the sketch. The patterned papers I have used
are buy Creative Memories and I have had them around for some
time and thought they went perfect with the photos.

The chippies are by Scraptopia and I colored them with Copics -
100 Black, E33 Sand and Y17 Yellow. I loved the way the chippie
around the harvester come up, it looked so much like string.

The film strip is by Kaisercraft along with the Honeycomb stamp.
I used Black Soot Distress Ink on the stamp and then I sponged
some on the card stock as well. I used the same ink on the edges
of the patterned papers.

I just love the title chippie, the old truck is just perfect on it.

Celebrate Being 2

Hello ladies and welcome to my blog, as always it is great
to have you here. The LO I will be sharing with you today
is for my DT post over at Scrapbookit. What a fun challenge
has been set by Jo his month. When you have a moment hop
on over, check out the other DT creations and join in he fun.

Yes, it's a tic-tac-toe and it is as simple as picking a row. Up,
down, across or diagonal, so simple. Once you have picked
the three you want the rest is up to you. Below is my take on
the challenge.

The layout is of my beautiful son Harley and I chose to use the
  the center line.
CHIPBOARD - CELEBRATE - INK
The papers I have are from Pebbles' 12x12 Birthday Paper Pad.
I placed a piece of the patterned paper on top of grey card stock
and then used some modeling paste. Over the modeling paste I
placed some Black Soot Distress Ink. I had dried the modeling
paste just a little to make it bubble in places.

It was then time to get out the Dylusions Ink Sprays. I chose to
use Postbox Red and Campso Teal which I sprayed onto my back
ground. These two colors went so well with the papers. I also used
them with the Kaisercraft 12x12 Quarters Stencil.
The banner at the top worked well with the photos and the wording
cut from the paper range. I mounted them on red card stock so they
would all have the same look. All I then did was attach them with
Kaisercraft pegs and some Twine.

The final thing I needed to complete the requirements in the row I
picked was a Chipboard. I had the awesome big Kaisercraft -
cupcakes and I then colored it with Copics - R25 Cadmium Red
and B05 Process Blue. Once this was done I used red Kindy Glitz
on the top. I placed it on some of the patterned paper and then cut it
out. The Let's eat cake and Celebrate tag is also from the paper pack.
Thanks for calling over and until next time happy crafting.
