The Love Of Dance - Tag Album

Hello everyone and a very warm welcome as always to my blog and the final day to another month. Also closer to the festive season which I must admit I'm not ready for at all this year. That might do with the fact we have already done family Christmas for mum. But for now it is business at hand - :)

I would like to share with you a Tag Album I have created for a special friends daughter, Miss Meghan. She is such a sweetheart and I have used some beautiful products from the Meg's Garden Store for the album and both Meghan and the products compliment each other.

I'm so happy with how it has come up and I have used some beautiful different ranges of patterned  papers and different flowers. Having two boys I love scrapping Meghan and being able to do girly things with flowers on them.

The patterned paper I have used on the cover of the tag is from the Butterfly Collection. The beautiful lace is so elegant and I placed a pearl bling in the center of each of the flowers on it. Elegance is what our little ballerina is all about. The flowers that I used on the cover tag is from the Velvet flowers and leaves range.  The large one is out of the  Delphinium Posy - Green Mauve and the smaller is a Viola Posy - pale pink.

Six beautiful little princess and ours is at the bottom left and there is so much in the Meg's Garden store to give these tags all the elegance that is needed.
The pattered paper on page 2 is from the English Rose Garden Collection. I placed a square lace doily on it and coloured it with Distress Ink - Forest Moss and it brought the stunning pattern out in the doily. Around the photo on the lace I placed some pearls. The butterfly I have cut from the from the butterflies transparencies sheet and each sheet has many to choose from.

Tag 3 I chose to use some more of the beautiful lace and also a brass ornate label which I chose to place Meghan's name in. The flowers on this side of the tag are The beautiful Fantasy Blooms and you get 11 different colour themes to choose from and in the pack they range from small to large. I just love these flowers. The Fantasy Blooms I chose are - Blue. The other flower is a Fabric Bloom - Cornsilk and the fabric reminded me of some of the fabric on the beautiful tutus. I finished the outside edge with Gold Liquid Pearls.

The pattered papers on the 4th tag page is from The Forgotten Meadows page. Miss Meghan is second from the left this time in a beautiful modern ballet dress. The flowers I chose I feel go so well with her dress. The large flower is from the Velvet Flower range, Delphinium Posy - Antique Pink and the smaller is Carabella Rose Posy - Fairy Pink.  The shoe and title are fussy cut from the Put On Your Dancing Shoes paper.

The Ballet chippie is by Fab Scraps and I have coloured it with Copics and then on the word I used Glossy Accents and the the ballet shoes I used Kindy Glitz. The flowers are again Fantasy Blooms but this time it is the Rose I have chosen. The pattered paper I used to create this last tag on is from the Butterfly Collection. This is a lovely soft paper and perfect for the softness of the photo. The Lace love heart doily is stunning and I inked it with Distress Ink - Victorian Velvet. To finish off I have used the Liquid pearls again in a very soft pink.
I hope you have enjoyed my Tag Album as much as I enjoyed creating it and please call to the Meg's Garden Store for the wonderful products I have used.  Also please call to the Meg's Garden Blog to see many more wonderful projects with beautiful products.

Our Christmas

Hello, welcome to my  blog and my post for WOW Chipboard. I have created it for the
WOW TRIPLE TREAT for the month of October.
This layout is a very special layout for me as it is our family's 2015 Christmas which we only celebrated a few weeks back. Due to the fact that my beautiful Mum is so sick she wanted us to have an early Christmas and it was a wonderful day. I enjoyed using the awesome WOW chippies to make this layout of our special day.

For all three chippies in the set I used the same technique on them. I first coloured them with Copics- Red,Christmas Green and Golden/Brown. I then rubbed on a little in spots Viva Inka Gold - Old Gold and once this was done I then used  Glossy Accents and it give it a beautiful finish I think.

Now for some closeups of the three chippies from the set - Title, presents and stars.

The layout was created on Kaisercraft White Cardstock. The other products are -
Distress Ink - Gathered Twigs
Kaiser Jewels Blig - December 25th

Gold Doily
Patterned Papers - Docraft Victorian Christmas

{PLAY}

Hello my crafty friends and welcome as always to my blog.
Who can believe it is October already – before we know it, it will be Christmas. This week at Lets Get Sketchy we have a layout by Laura Whittaker and here is my take and the layout:

This photo was taken of my son Riley whilst at his graduation concert for the Wimmera and District Band. I was so proud of him as he was there for seven days during the school school holidays for some very long hours.
I have used Provo Craft paper – sheet music as the background – backed onto black cardstock. Behind the photo mat I have used Tim Holtz stencil – Dot fade with Tim Holtz Walnut Stain distress ink, Kaisercraft Clear stamps and plasterers tape.
Here are some close ups:

I have inked the edges with Tim Holtz Distress Ink = walnut stain.

The Scrap FX chipboard is inked with Prima Chalk Ink.

I have drawn smaller hearts in the die cut heart for a layered effect.
Final touches are Kaisercraft rhinestones and Viva Pearl Pen spot.

I hope you have enjoyed my page and please call over to the Let's Get Sketchy blog and have a look at the other wonderful creations from the design team and join in the fun.
Happy Crafting. xx

Brothers Today and Always

Welcome as always to my blog and my post today for 123 Challenge Blog. The page is my two boys Riley and Harley. They are my whole world and I love scrapping them. This is just one of the photos taken that day and trust me the others were not the same as this. Here they look so adorable, in the others one or the other was making faces. They are chalk and cheese and at times fight like they want to kill each other (everyone says its normal for boys) but they have a love for each other that nothing comes between.

Anyway onto the challenge and my take on it. Don't forget that you need to use all 3 of the requirements on you page to be allageable for a prize. It is another get challenge and there is more inspiration on the blog from the rest of the very creative designers.

The patterned paper I used for this page is by Kaisercraft - Kaleidoscope. Its an awesome paper as it had everything I needed for the background already there for me. I would call it my lazy background. I have been quite busy at the moment with some family matters and this awesome paper helped me out. It looks as though I have used cardboard, stamp, sprays etc, but no its just this beautiful paper.

The cog chippies are by Dusty Attic and I have painted them with Pebeco Studio Acrylic Paint - Iridescent Green. I them stamped them with a Kaiser clear stamp - Sketchy and Ranger Archival Ink - Jet Black. The hearts and mini arrows are from a Thickers word sheet.

Brothers and today are both chippies and I have coloured them with the Jet Black ink. The & and always are also from the Thickers word sheet. I used black cardstock to mount the photo.

The circles are done by using a circle Kaiser stencil and a journal pen, once this was done I coloured them with a Lime Green Crayon.

As you can see I have used the 3 requirements of the challenge.
1.   Colour - Lime
2.   Word - Today
3.   Technique - Spots

I hope you have enjoyed my page and that I have been able to inspire you to have a look at what the rest of the design team have been up to and join in the fun with this great challenge.
Happy crafting. xxx

Back To School

Hello crafty friends and welcome to my blog. Today I would like to show you a layout I have created of my son Harley. The very handsome devil and joker of my family. The layout is for Let's Capture Our Memories and again there is an awesome sketch. I loved this one. So here is the sketch and my take on it.

I created the layout on cardstock and used Teresa Collins - Everyday Moments patterned papers. For the inking of the papers I used Distress Ink - Black soot.

My title and the globe are wooden flourishes by Kaisercraft and they have been coloured with Fusions by Kaisercraft - Black, Royal Blue and Yellow.

The cog, stars, arrow and you make me smile are all from a Kaisercraft Collectables pack - Scrap Yard and I inked the edges just a little.

I created the grid using an old template I had in my collection from Creative Memories and a balck Fusion. The numbers are from Kaisercrafts Alpha Sticker sheet - Ebony.

Oh yes he looks so adorable doesn't he. Love this kid of mine to bits but trust me inside lurks my little devil and joker just waiting for the camera to turn away lol. I wouldn't have him any other way.

I hope you have enjoyed my page and please call over to the Let's Capture Our Memories Blog, check out the other inspirational pages and join in the fun.
Happy crafting.
