Hello crafty friends and welcome to my blog, it is great to have you call over. Today I would like to show you my DT layout over at 123 Challenge Blog. As you would all know it is 123 so there are three requirements when joining in. They are fun and easy though as you can see below.
My layout is of my son Harley and of course he can never go past a bike with his name on it. In this case though his partner in the photo is a dressed up manikin. Don't know about you but I think they make the perfect duo. :)
I chose to do my layout on Kaisercraft white cardstock. To create the back ground I used Distress inks - Fired Brick, Wild Honey and Faded Jeans. Dylusions Spray Ink - Post Box Red and Lemon Zest. Blue Glitter, Matisse Impasto Medium and Modeling paste on a WOW stencil - Splat.
To build around my photo I used Kaisercraft Corrugated Cardboard which I colored with the Distress Inks before placing the photo on it. Over the photo I placed a Manor House ornate frame to highlight the due - Harley and the manikin which I colored with the post box red ink.
The other items I used to create my layout are -
Kaisercraft - DymoBoys Rub-ons
Kaisercraft - Antiques Clear Stickers
Kaiercraft - Script WordsClear Stickers
Washi Tape
ProvoCraft Alpha Stickers
Journal Pen
Red, Blue and Yellow cotton
Small red beads
I hope you like my take on the challenge and hop on over to 123 Challenge Blog and see what the other DT girls have created to get your juices flowing. To join in the fun you will be in the running for one of the awesome prizes so please hop on over and check it out.
Until my next post have fun and happy crafting
hugs xxx
