Picture Perfect Memories

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog. Today I would like to show you a layout I have created for Scrapbooking and Keepsakes
The papers I have used are Kaisercrafts - Secret Garden Collection. This is my second layout with these papers and if you scroll now to the post below you will see that it is very girly, but this layout is the same papers and collectables but very much boy. They are an awesome paper range for this.

I have also used this layout for the challenge over at Lasting Memories. It is a great challenge -
Challenge #250 - Use 3 or more different patterned papers.

I chose to do the layout on black cardstock with a black & white photo. I think it made the papers pop out just a little more and also the photo. I love it when your eye goes right to the picture first and I think I have achieved that with this layout.

I have inked around the patterned papers with Distress Ink - Black Soot. The flourish chippie is by Fab Scraps and I coloured it with a Distress Marker - Peeled Paint. If you don't have the Distress markers then you can use the same colour in Distress Ink or Spray.

My title is a Scrap FX Chippie and I also used Distress Ink - Peeled Paint on it. The other thing I decided to do was a little bit of stitching with my journal pen.

I hope you have like a look at my layout of my son Riley and the difference the one paper packed can make. It has been great having you call in and please call again.
Happy Crafting.
