Happy

Hello and as always welcome to my blog and my A2Z Scraplets DT post.
My page photo is of my wonderful friend Lynne and she is always happy. The title is perfect for her.

For my title I started by painting the whole word white. I then mixed Dylusions light pink with white to create a real soft colour which I then put on the bottom half only. Once this was done I used my finger to rub on a very small amount of Viva Inca Gold white. Just enough to make it pop and give it a nice shine.

I love this flourish, the great leaves and the way it starts out solid and goes down to the wispy ends. It has such a real look to it.

The flowers I have used are Little Birdie and they are just beautiful. Other products I have used on my page are -
Clear Script Stamp
Dylusions Paint
Circle/stitching Stamp
Lindy's Stamp Gang Spray

I hope you have enjoyed popping in and looking at my page. Don't forget for these great chippies you can pop on over to the A2Z Scraplets store and shop in the comfort of your own home - a big love of mine. You will also be able to find some beautiful Little Birdie flowers there as well.

Addicted to Gaming

Hello crafty friends and as always welcome to my blog and my latest DT post for A2Z Scraplet. The page I have created is of my son Riley and he is doing what he loves doing in his relax and unwind time. Not that sometimes he sounds like he is unwinding when he is yelling at the screen in front of him and things are not working like he thought or wanted lol.
Anyway now for the page and the two great chippies I used.

I love this Steampunk Cog Corner chippie. The products I used to create it are -
Modeling Paste
Black Gesso
Viva Inka Gold Rubs
Perfect pearls Mist Spray

To get all the step by step details on how I did these two chippies all you have to do is hop on over to the A2Z Scraplets Blog

My title chippie - Addicted 2 Gaming has the fantastic controller. I have to admit though my son Riley has let me know that I have not done the control right. Mmmmm well I'm happy with it and think it's close enough :) So a few buttons in the wrong spot, only compared to his control lol.

I hope you have enjoyed popping in and please hop on over to the A2Z Scraplets Blog and see what other wonderful creations are over there from the very talented design team.
Also don't forget to hop on over to the A2Z Scraplets Facebook and join in with this months great competition. Happy Crafting. xxx

Life Is A Journey

Hello and welcome to my blog. I would like to share a DT page with you that I have created for
Megs Garden. I created it using the beautiful new papers Meg has in store -Shades of Green (Pack 1) I just love the colours and designs on them, they look so delicate.
The papers I have used are the 12 piece 145mm squares. I the the versatility of these packs because they are perfect size for creating your cards but also great for scrapping pages and I have done.

I have used the beautiful papers from the packet behind my photo and the tags on the left and the title along with the beautiful clock and flowers have all been fussy cut from the papers and Ephemera papers that match. They are all available in Megs Garden store along with so many more beautiful designs.

On my background I have used -
Dylusions paint
Texture Paste
Stencil
Script Stamp
Ink

I hope you have enjoyed looking at my creation.
Don't forget to visit the Meg's Garden store as there are so many new things in stock that if you are like me you will be going wow the whole time you are there. Dies, flowers, papers and the list goes on. So for now, happy crafting and I will be back again soon.

Amazing

Hello and as always welcome to my blog and my DT post for Off The Rails. This month I chose to do my layout tutorial on the monthly challenge. I just loved the April Mood Board. My page photo is of my eldest son Riley and two of his school friends.

I chose to use the beautiful bright colours from it along with the rosettes and the dots all over the lips for my inspiration. I just loved this mood board and the bright colours and as soon as I looked at it I felt happy, I needed a fun happy photo and I knew just the one. Riley house swimming sports. His house colours are yellow and all the students are encouraged to dress up and do a fashion parade as well. Yes my fun loving son is in the middle and they were the winners of the parade.

For the rosette I created it with a stencil and texture paste. Once this was dry I then went over it with different bright Distress Inks.

I worked out where I wanted my photo to sit and the frame I was going
to use so that I knew I had enough of the background showing when it was placed on the top.

I mounted the photo on orange patterned paper and the frame I painted red. On both I did circle/line in white as well to match in with what chippies I was going to use.
Once everything was placed on my page I then used the different paint pens to put dots everywhere on the page. Some even on the chippies. The lips in the mood board with all the dots were just screaming out at me to be used.

The last thing I did was colour and place my chippie title. First I painted it yellow to go with the kids outfits and then I used a sponge to sponge on it a little of the orange paint I used.

I hope you have enjoyed popping in to see my page and how I have used this months mood board. Please make sure you join in with us over at Off The Rails this month because it is such a bright, lively mood board and I would love to see your take on it.

Looking Good

Hello crafty friends and welcome to my blog and my DT post today for A2Z Scraplets. This page photo is all about my hair makeover. I think the title is perfect since everyone has been saying how good I'm looking with the new style and colour.

The two chippies I chose to use are both in the A2Z Scraplets Store and I love them both. You can also get the beautiful Little Birdie Flowers from A2Z Scraplets store too.

For my looking good chippie I have painted it with Dylusions paint in the lovely soft pink and purple. I then covered it with a crackle medium.

For my chicken wire I decided to leave it raw. I think sometime the raw chippies look so effective. On this page I thought it made them pop out a little leaving them raw which also helped to enhance the flowers.

Other products I have used are -
Lindy's Stamp Gang Magicals
Script Stamp
A2Z Circles chippie (Placed on the background to leave a pattern the same as a stencil would - this chippie was used on another page)
Distress Ink
Cardstock
Journal Pen
Dylusions Paint
Crackle Medium

I hope you have enjoyed popping in to have a look at my latest page and I have been able to give you some inspiration. Please hop on over to the A2Z Scraplets Blog as there is some beautiful work to see when you scroll down from mine. Also please hop on over to the Facebook Challenge page and join in on this month challenge. You never know you could be the lucky winner. Happy Crafting xxx
