Christmas - Journal page

Hi and welcome to my blog and my final posting (maybe lol) for today. I would like to share with you a double journal page created at a class taught by my lovely friend Rhonda Crawford.

I had fun doing this page and when doing it the day was very hot and I must say there was nothing about doing a snow page that made me feel any cooler lol.
I do sometimes wish I could be in a place with snow for just one Christmas, never know it might happen one year. Maybe one of my boys will move and I will have to go there :)

Some of the products used -
Dylusions Paints
White Gesso
Versa Marker Pad
Opal Essence Embossing powder
Die Cuts

Glitters - Opal, Green, Silver, Gold, Light Blue, Mauve
Black and White Journal Pens
Archival Inks/ Distress Inks - or Ink Pens

So for me now it's off to the craft room. So many things I want to get done. You never know there might even be something new on my blog tomorrow if I don't get interruptions from the boys lol. If not you now know the reason.... Kids (lucky I love them so much) I'm in hope with this heat they will decide the outdoor spa is a good place to be.

Seaside Serenity

Hello crafty friends and a huge welcome to my blog and January post for A2Z Scraplet.  Yes I'm now on the A2Z design team and wow I'm so happy and looking forward to the fun ahead.
What a great challenge we have for you too, check it out and join in with us on the A2Z Challenge Facebook page. But now it's time to share with you the challenge and my page.

What a great summer mood board, I loved it. Besides my page there is loads of inspiration on the Challenge page for you to have a look at and get your mojo flowing if you need a kick start. There is always loads of inspiration on the A2Z Scraplets Blog too.

This great chippie - Seaside Serenity along with so many more can can be found in the A2Z Store.

For my title I coated it with Modeling Paste using my finger (rough bumpy coat not smooth) and then used my heat gun to heat it up. When you do this it bubbles. Then again with my finger I rubbed lightly some Viva Inca Gold in a bronze/gold and pail green. Once I did that I then placed some blue paint on it. You can do this method even using sprays.

The other products I have used are -
White Cardstock
Modeling Paste
Kaiser Paint - Tropical Water
Dylusions Paint - London Blue & White Linen
Tinby Designs Color Crush - Deep ocean
Kaisercraft Stencil
Kaisercraft Clear Stamp - Fishing net
Viva Inka Gold - Jade & Brown Gold
Distress Ink - Brushed Corduroy

I hope you have enjoyed popping in and that I have inspired you to come and join in with us.

Welcome to my blog and my DT post for Off The Rails
Wow it is so close to Santa being here it's not funny. Only hours now and he arrives, a little sleep and then it's up ans out of bed to cook away with out traditional Christmas dinner. Th only one missing is my beautiful mm who is in my layout photo with me. It was our last Christmas together celebrated  late in the October 2015. It only feels like yesterday since we lost her. Tomorrow there will be a place at our table for her and we will remember our Christmas with her and eat and drink all the things she loved on this day. But now it's time for the wonderful Challenge at Off The Rails that allowed me to be able to bring this page to you.

With your white you may use one other color, I chose Red.

I'm so happy with this page but I think it comes form the love and tear as I made it.

Santa

Welcome to my blog and my DT post for Let's Get Sketchy. What a great sketch we have for you this month. I have created a Christmas page of myself from a Snap Chat photo since we are so close to Christmas.

To create my page I have used Kaisercraft patterned papers and a Kaiercraft wooden flourish.
As you would all know I love to fussy cut and I have done that with these papers.
The poinsettias are a die.

I hope you have enjoyed popping in to look at my page and that you will hop on over to
Let's Get Sketchy and join in the fun with us before 2017 is over.
