Believe

Welcome once again to my blog ladies. I'm looking forward
too showing you this latest creation of mine. But unlike my
normal posts this one will be very short. I don't feel the best
today (wow is me) so you will be seeing pics and a list.

Please pop over to Scrapbookit though and you will also see
a card and door hanger I have created for this months post.

This LO is once again the very pretty Miss Megan. Another for her
album. It is coming together nicely.

The products I have used are.....
Kaiser Craft -  "The Looking Glass Collection"
Tim Holtz Distress Stain - Rusty Hinge & Picket Fence
Kaiser Ink - Brown
Thickers Letters - Chestnut
Kaiser Stencil - Wheat
Texture paste
Inks - Yellow & Green
Kaiser Rubon - After five Collection
Journal Pen.

In one way or another we all need to believe. Be it in fairy tales
like Miss Meghan and my boys or something else like me. We all
need to believe in something.

By the grace off God  'I believe' in my mother and her fight against
cancer. I believe in her strength and it gives me strength.

Time to put my head down and see if i can feel better.
Happy Crafting everyone and thanks for popping into my blog.

Winter a time for COOL FUN

Hello everyone and welcome again too my blog.
I hope you have all had a wonderful week like I
have had. Busy but a great week.

The LO I would like too show you I have created
for the challenge at 123 Challenge Blog. It was a lot
off fun. There were 3 requirements for this challenge.
They were color, word and technique.

Color = Teal
Word = Cool
Technique = Stamping

This is my take on the challenge.

The two very handsome boys in the photo off course are my sons
Riley and Harley. It was our first trip too the snow and we all loved
it so much. Both the boys took too skiing like they had been doing
it for year. Just a couple off goes with dad holding on and then away
they both went. The father, what can I say, one very bruised bottom.
The mother, very smart, had one go and then stayed behind the camera.

Because I used quite a lot off different off different products on this
LO I will mostly just list what they are. Off course I started with white
card stock and began too build my background.
Dylusions ink spray - Campso Teal
Kaiser 12x12 template - Bubbles with texture paste
Tim Holtz Distress Stain - Broken China
Heidi Swapp - Color Shine - Teal
Versa Color Ink - Black
Kaiser clear stamp - Crackle
Rub ons - Basic Grey
         Kaiser

Winter chippie - By Scraptopia
Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Peacock Feathers
Ranger - Glossy Accents
3D white paint.
(The glossy accents changed the color and made it a lot darker)

Snow flake chippies - Kaiser Craft
Texture paste
Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Peacock Feathers
Kindy Glitz - Crystalina

Stamp title - Stampin` Up - Letter It
Staedtler fine liner - green, Glossy Accents over the top
3D white paint

Kaiser Clear Stamp - Periwinkle Birds
Versa Color black ink
Staedtler fine liner - Teal, orange, yellow and green

The patterned papers were from my scrap box and I used a journal
sticker from my left overs box. It was a great teal color match.
I used a black Ultimate Marker to go around the edge off the photo
just too make it stand out a little more.

I hope you have liked my take off the challenge at 123 Challenge Blog
and there is still time for you too get an entry in too.
Happy scrapping. xx

A Boy And His Dog

Welcome again everyone too my blog and another Challenge
LO. This one is for the challenge at Scrap The Boys.

The November Challenge is "Mans Best Friend" and I decided
to go with the traditional one and created a LO of my son Riley
and his dog Sweetie (name picked by Riley, his reason was - she
is such a Sweetie) .

I just love doing pages off my boys and they are boys. I have so many
photos off them covered in mud and playing in mud. The one thing that
Riley and sweetie have always loved too do is play in the mud near the
creek on the farm. Oh yes and don't I love it too. Smells so nice, not. lol

The title chippie is from WOW and I have colored it with Stampin` Up -
Certainly Celery. My back ground paper is from the Kaiser Crafts range -
Base Coat and the patterned papers are also Kaisers - Lone Ranger which
I have had for some time now and thought they were just perfect for what
I had in mind. I used black card stock too mount the photos of Riley and
Sweetie. I have used TCW Splats stencil with Viva Ferro - Stahl. The other
stencil I used is also TCW - Mini Halequin with texture paste. Once dry I
then inked it with Vera Color Ink - Bark, Atlantic and Pine cone.

I loved doing this LO for Scrap The Boys and being able to give it that real
dirty yucky look. The same look Riley and Sweet had. I punched out my tags
with a Creative Memories tag punch and then inked around the edges and used
a journal pen to do some stitching. I used rub-ons and on one I did my journal
and placed it behind the papers so it matched in and can be pulled out to read
any time.

The grass and wire are chippies made by Scraptopia. The grass I have also
colored with Certainly Celery the same as the title. The string is from my
sons yo-yo as he broke it and I thought it would come in handy. I have also
placed a little washi tape near the words Riley and Sweetie. On my tags I
also used Bella bling. The rub-ons are a mix from Kaiser, Sullivans and BTDT.

I hope you like my layout for Scrap The Boys  - Mans Best Friend
challenge. If I have inspired you then pop on over and join in the fun with
the November challenge. You still have plenty off time.

Moments

Hello ladies. It is time for me too post my layout for
Scraptopia. Also along with my post comes some very
wonderful news. Scraptopia (Kylie) is now designing and
making chippies. Yes making her own designs and making
chippies. They are just beautiful. When you get a chance
pop on over to the blog and check things out. There is the
store and also a LO and card challenge every month.

But for now it is about my latest LO for Scraptopia. I have
used three off the Scraptopia chippies.

The beautiful lady in this LO is my mother. She is a truly amazing
woman and I love her very much. Every day she battles cancer. She
has a strength I wish I had. Every moment I have with her I will hold
in my heart forever.

The patterned papers I used on this LO are by Kaiser Craft - Magnolia
Grovwer Collection. They are such pretty papers.

I just love this chippie clock. I have used crackle paint on it. The
flowers are either from the sticker sheet or I have fussy cut them
from the papers. I'm guessing you are all getting used to me and my
fussy cutting. I love it.

The ornate bird cage is from Scraptopia and I colored it with Artnic
ink - Old Rose. As you can see in this pic I chose to do a hidden
journal which I placed in behind the photo.

The word Moments is off course from Scraptopia and I have used
a couple off coats off Tim Holtz Distress ink - Gathered Twigs on it.
I have also used the same ink too ink the edges off my papers. I think
this helps to set them out from the others.

In this last pic it shows how I have done some more fussy cutting
and these papers were awesome for that.
I hope you have liked this layout of my beautiful mother.
