Now for the sketch and my take on the challenge and if you have Snap Chat you will know that I have a lot of fun with it. Yes this is a snap chat photo and over time there will be more to come as not only do I have fun with it but so do my boys and the kids on the bus.

Dream Weaver & Love You Everyday

I have two layouts I would like to share with you and they are both from classes by
Heather McMahon and both were some time ago.
I was doing a cleanup and sort out, you know one of the over due things we all need to do with our scrap rooms/areas. While doing this I come across both of these kits and the first one was partly done and the second was not even started, bad me. So I decided it was time to get them finished and I must say I'm more than happy with the results.

Now for the first - This photo is of my eldest son Riley after a swim meet a few years ago now.

Now for the second page and the photo I chose to use is of my youngest son Harley which was also taken some time ago.

Thank you so much for stopping in and I hope you like both of these pages and that I have been able to inspire you as much as Heather's work inspires me.

Happy Moment

Hello and as always welcome to my blog and a post I wanted to share with you of a page I completed for a class at Treasures Forever Scrapbooking Retreat. I love this page and the awesome Kaisercraft papers I got to use in Roz's class.

Everything we used on the page we created is available at Treasures forever, even the beautiful Green Tara Flowers. As you can see we did my favorite, fussy cutting and the flowers on the patterned papers were perfect for it.

Thank you for stopping over to have a look at my creations. Please keep coming back as I love visitors and don't forget to leave me some love so I know you stopped in.

Smitten

Hello my crafty friends and welcome to my blog. Today I would like to share with you my DT page for Let's Get Sketchy

This is the first challenge for the month of November.  This month we are teaming up with the talented ladies over at SpiegelmomsScraps.
Check out the other wonderful inspiration Let's Get Sketchy has from the rest of the design team over at the blog and make sure you pop on over and visit the ladies at Spiegelmoms to see what they have in store for you as well!

Now for my take on the sketch and the photo is of my mum and dad. Mum sure was smitten with my dad from day and that never changed.

I created my page on white cardstock and used Kaisercrafts patterned papers - Chase Rainbows Collection. The doily's were also cut from the patterned papers. On my background I used the amazing Timby Designs - Color Crush - Blueberry, Basil and Raspberry. I love these products and I'm happy to say I have every color.

I also used white paint on my background, I flicked it over the top of the Color Crush with a fan brush. I used Distress Ink - Black Soot to ink the edges of the patterned papers and doily.  The title is an American Crafters word title and is perfect for this photo of my very young parents. The photo was taken before they went to my dads work ball.

I sprayed some white cardstock with Dylusions Ink Spray - Campso Teal and then punched out the butterflies. The only other thing I used besides what I have listed is my journal pen for the journaling.

I hope you have enjoyed stopping over and please don't forget to see what the rest of the design team have been up to and join in the fun with us.

Wild Flower Bliss

Hello crafty friends and welcome as always. I have a fun page to show you today from a
Heather McMahon class I went to last weekend in Ballarat. This is the second page we did for the day and it was just as much fun as the first. I love doing classes as I find there is always some new technique you can learn, a new product to see or a different way of doing something. Heather's classes are like that and that's what makes them great. Also it's a great way to meet like minded people and catch up with old friends. What a great day.... Now foor my page.

Again we used the Tinby Designs - Color Crushes and the are stunning and fun to use.
Alphas, stamping, Dusty Attic Chippies, stenciling and paint are a few of the products to create this awesome page.

I hope you love my page as much as I do. To find Heathers Blog just click on her name above and it will take you right there.
Thanks for stopping in and have a wonderful day filled with love.

Cherish

Over at Let's Get Sketchy this month there is an extra challenge and it's all because October is a 5 week month.  That means there is extra fun and there is 4 days left to join in. This one is awesome and because it's the 5th week instead of a sketch we have a wonderful mood board for you to use. Create you own design by using inspiration form the board below.

This is my take on the challenge and I have used a photo of my mum and my youngest son Riley when just a little fellow. Grandma and I had taken him to the hairdresser and then they both had coloured spikes put in their hair. It was so much fun, for grandma too lol.

To save lots of reading with me babbling on I will list the products I have used.

Dylusions Ink Spray -

Shadow Box, Card and Tag

Welcome to my blog and my day of post. There are my design team posts today and also a couple from a class I attended, so lots to see.
This post is for my design team work for Megs Garden and all the beautiful products I got to use are available though the Meg's Garden Shop. If you click the link it will take you straight for fun shopping, something I always love to do. The other link is to the Meg's Garden Blog and there is some beautiful work to see there by the rest of the design team. Now for mine.

I have created a shadow box, card and tag. As most of you have worked out by now I love to fussy cut and Megs patterned papers are always great for this, I love working with them.
My first to show you is the Shadow box.

The beautiful white rose, butterflies and verse have all been fussy cut from the patterned papers. The larger flower in the corner is a beautiful white Rue and they come in pkts of 5. The other flowers are ones that you will see on a lot of my work, I love them, they are the Green Tara pkts of 11 flowers in varying sizes. The ones on my shadow boy I chose to use the black and white packet

Next is my Card

For the patterned paper I distressed the edge and then used lightly some black ink on the edge. My Happy Birthday is a die and the car and gentleman have been fussy cut from the papers.

Now for my tag still using the same papers.

On the background patterned paper I used a Tim Holtz Stencil - Stripes with a little Distress Ink - Forest Moss mixed in it. My bottom is a Wooden Flourish Fancy Boarder which I have coloured with a Copic - Moss.

Again my fussy cutting with the verse, butterfly and beautiful pink rose. There is so much you can create when fussy cutting from these papers. Both on the card and tag I have raised the flower, car, gentleman and butterfly with dimensions.

I hope you have enjoyed looking at my post and that I have inspired you in some way to get creative with these stunning products and papers. Maybe you could create some similar for Christmas which is just around the corner. There are some wonderful Christmas papers at the Megs Garden store that would be awesome to fussy cut with just the same as you can do with these ones. These Vintage Journal papers would make some wonderful gifts also just like I have made.

Wonderful

Hello and welcome as always to my special place. The place I share my work and what I love to create. I would like to share with you a page I completed last weekend at a class with
Heather McMahon in Ballarat. Heather does truly amazing work and her classes are the same..amazing. If you get the chance to do one I would recommend it.
This is my page.

The page was created on white cardstock and I chose to use a snap chat photo of myself. Coloured chippies, cotton, punched flowers, wipes hand made flower, stamping, stencils and the beautiful vibrant colours of the background using Timby Designs - Color Crush products were just a few things used in the class. Different techniques were used with some of the same product and it was fun to learn the different ways to use them.

Click on Heather's link above and hop on over to her blog. She has such amazing work for you to see. If you get s chance to do one of Heather's classes you wont be disappointed. You can also find Heather on Facebook and her classes will be on there when she is running them.
Huge thanks Heather for an awesome day. XXX
Thanks for stopping in and please call again.

Always Pretty

As always my crafty friends welcome to my blog. Today I would like to share with you my page created for the challenge over at 123 Challenge Blog. We have another great challenge for you this month and I know you will love it. There are so many shades of peach and if you hop on over to the blog and look at the other wonderful creations the rest of the design team have come up with you will understand what I mean.

Now for my take which is a page of my Mum who is very much in my thoughts. Mum loved flowers and had beautiful ones in her garden but couldn't have them in her house as they give her migraines so to put flowers on a page of her always made her happy. The bird bath is exactly the same as the one in her garden that she could see out her kitchen window.

The beautiful patterned papers I used are by Kaisercraft - Cottage Rose Garden and to created my Pleats I used a die.
I will list the other products I used.

Kaisercraft - Dymino Alphas
Kaisercraft - Alpha stickers - Coral
Inks - Brown, Peach, Yellow, Blue and Green
Fussy cut embellishments

  Fussy cut sentiment
White paint
Dusty Attic - Bird Bath
Dusty Attic - Mini Birds #3

I love having you pop in and I hope you have enjoyed looking at my page for 123 Challenge blog. Hop on over and join in the fun and be in the running for a wonderful prize at the end of the month.
Happy Crafting. xxx
