Follow Your DREAMS

Hello crafty friends and welcome to my blog and my post for A2Z Scraplets. My creation for this week was a double journal page and I had so much fun doing this one.
One of the Grade 1 girls on my bus run coloured the Zebra and the other bits and pieces then give it to me. After talking with her she decided that it would be fun for me to use it on her craft. I have cut the Zebra and other bits from it and she has now seen it and loves what I have done. She said it was special and loved it.  She is such a sweetheart.

Now my double page and the great A2Z Scraplets chippies I have used.

I have added journaling to the bow, glasses on the Zebra, scroll circle and around the outside of the  small glasses.

I love this phrase title I have have used. I hope my boys do this throughout their lives.

I have used blue paint to cover the chippie and with the word DREAMS I have outlined the word with a black paint pen. I then went over it when dry with a Wink Of Stella Clear sparkle pen.

Then with this stunning chippie below that you can place anywhere even popping out behind work I painted with a purple matching in with the colours on the pages. Then with the same blue and green paint as my page I put just a rubbed little here and there on it.

The other products I have used are -
Black journal pen
Dylusions Paint
Texture Paste
Stencil

Looking Back

Hello crafty friends and welcome to my blog and DT post for Off The Rails. What a great challenge mood board we have for you. I couldn't wait to get my craft on with this one.

DID YOU KNOW ...
You don't have to enter a Scrapbook Layout to play along with our challenge?
We also accept cards, off the page projects and art journal entries.

Now or my take on the challenge. I chose to use the black and white with some red.  If you chose like I have you dont have to use red it can be a colour of you choosing. I stayed with the mood board and also chose to use a photo of a family member from my dads side from around the same time as the photos in thee mood board.

I created my page on White Cardstock and air sprayed it with Distress Markers in Balck and Red
The other products I used are -
A2Z Scraplets Circle Frame Chippie
Crackle Paint
Green Tara Flowers
Black and Red Paint
Red Dylusions Spray
Journal Pen
Alpha Letters

I hope you have enjoyed popping in and I hope you take the time to hop on over to Off The Rails and join in the challenge fun with us.

Journal pages

Hello crafty friends and welcome to my blog and my post today is a class I attended last weekend by Rhonda Crawford a friend of mine. I love how my pages come up and all I added when I got home was a few words but for me personally I love some type of wording on my journal work.

The flowers were done free hand and I'm more than happy with them. Mine are some what larger than others in the class but I'm happy with that as they pop from the background so well and really fir the page.

There wasn't many products needed to create this double journal page -
Dylusions Pain
Paint Pens
Leaf Stencil
Leaf Stamp
Archival Ink
Verse from Kaisercraft Sticker heet

Thanks so much for stopping in to see what I have been up to. I hope where ever you are there is some lovely weather to enjoy. Happy Crafting XXX

Cat-titude

Welcome to my blog and my DT Challenge post for the March Challenge over at A2Z Scraplets. What a great challenge it is and it's all about our pets. Those other beloved family members of ours and we have two at our home. Riley's Jack Russel Sweety and Harley's British Blue Salem. For this page I chose Salem who's eyes I adore. Now for the challenge and my take on it.

This adorable cat of Harley's sure is perfect for the title. Attitude plus and when inside he runs the house and all of us. Making his demands well known with attitude if we don't do as wanted right away. But I love his attitude, reminds me of mine and Harley's :)
I chose the colours I did for this page to go with Salems fur colour and his beautiful golden eyes.

For the arrow circle I painted it white and then with a black paint pen I did a triangle in each of the arrow heads. Inside that I used Perfect Pearls - Sunflower Sparkle to create a smaller solid triangle.

For my title word I painted it with the Perfect Pearls - Sunflower Sparkle and then once it was dry I went around each letter with my black paint pen. I used the same technique on the mini arrow heads and the larger arrow from the title to our beautiful Salem.

The other things I have used is patterned paper for the background, stencil and modeling paste.

Now for some closeups.

Thanks so much for popping in and please call over to the A2Z Scraplets blog and see what the rest of the team have been up to. To join in with us on this fantastic challenge I we would love to see you over at the A2Z Facebook challenge page.
