Love, Peace

Welcome to my blog and my latest DT page for Off The Rails. You can join in with us on this awesome challenge over on Facebook.
So much fun working with the 60s as there is so much scope to choose from. It was a time for Peace, Love, Free Living and Music.

I chose a photo of John Lennon, amazing man, stunning voice and lets face it so handsome.
Anyway time for the challenge and my page.

For my title words and flowers I wanted something from that time that spoke freedom and style. I ended up getting them from the internet and fussy cut them out. There colour, design and style were perfect and I also had to include that ever used peace sign.

I created my page on white cardstock and the other products I used were -
Patterned Paper
Stamp
Black Archival Ink
Distress Spray Stain

I hope you like my page and thanks so much for stopping in. Please make sure you hop on over to Off The Rails Facebook page and join in the fun with us.

Fun Times

Hello and welcome to my Blog. I will be sharing with you today my DT page created for the challenge over at Sketchy Boards Challenges on Facebook.
As soon as I looked at the inspiration board I knew exactly what photo I was going to use.

I chose to use a photo of my youngest son Harley. We had had a day out a little while back and had come down an old lane way which was covered an graffiti. For some reason the extremely old brickwork and the graffiti caught my eye and I had to snap some photos.

Needless to say I ad the photo in mind and the papers. This page was just going to fall together for me as I instantly knew I had some stamps that would be perfect too.

The products I used were -
Kaisercraft Patterned Papers
Kaisercraft Dies
Skull and Hand Stamp
Kaisercraft Stickers
Black ink
Distress Pens

The time we spent together that day may have seemed little but I know when Harley looks back in time as he grows it will be one of the big things. How could us spending time together be anything but BIG.

Beautiful

Hello crafty friends and welcome to my blog. I'm a little late with my posts for this month but I have some personal issues that I'm dealing with at the moment and it is taking up a lot of headspace for me right now. I have surgery next week and once I recover from that I hope to have my life back to normal. Well as close to normal as I can get :)
Even though my pages are a little late I hope they are worth the wait. This page is for this months challenge over at Let's Get Sketchy. We have a fantastic sketch along with a mood board with tones of choice. If you go to the blog and scroll down you will see some amazing inspiration from the design team so please hop on over by clicking the link on my page. Check out the Let's Get Sketchy blog and join in with us. Now for the challenge and my take on it.

Because May is the month of Mothers I decided to do a page of mine. She was only a young girl in this photo and would have years of growing to become the most inspirational person in my life. I chose to use the of course the sketch which is a must and from the mood board the flowers and colour for my inspiration.

Mum had  a beautiful heart, beautiful bright blue eyes and a beautiful smile to match everything about her. (I love and miss you Mum)

To create my page I used the following products -
Kaisercraft Patterned Papers
Paper Flowers
Distress Ink Sprays
Dies
Paper Flowers
Journal Pen.

I hope you like my page and that I have been able to inspire you just a little to come and join in with us. You never know you could be this months winner and our Guest Designer.

Born To Ride

Hello all, I know it is a little late with this post for Off The Rails as we have moved into the new month. I'm so sorry about this but I have a medical issue that I'm dealing with right now and it has been mind consuming for me and I have had to make some decisions. Now that I have it is time for me to tying and get myself a little organized for the journey I have ahead of me. Which I will be happier to talk about at a later date. For now though it is catch up time so here I go....

This page I loved creating as it was all about boys and I have the most amazing two sons. I chose to create this one of Harley who is my petrol head just like his mum. We love cars, motorbikes, race cars, basically anything with grunt. He loved the 4 wheeler and it didn't matter if it was riding this one or on the back of my 250 4 wheeler.

Now for the challenge and my take. Sorry that it's last months (April)

The products I used for this page were -
White Cardstock
Kaisercraft Patterned Papers
Kaisercraft Sticker Sheet
Chippie
Stamps
Journal Pen
Archival Ink
Distress Spray

Thanks so much for popping in and please come back soon to see what I have been up to. If you hop on over to Off The Rails you will see that the new challenge for May is up and I know you will love it. It's a great moodboard for inspiration and it's all about hippies. Come along and join in with a time of love and free spirits.
