Nothing is Impossible

Welcome to my blog and my DT post for A2Z Scrapletts. I enjoyed doing this double page and making it bright to keep in with this months moodboard challenge at A2Z being bright and summery.
Now for my journal pages.

I used some Dylusions paint in the stunning bright colours that are in the moodboard and made sure that my Dylusions- Dyan Reaveley stamp was in keeping with summer. She sure is decked out in summer cloths looking cool with the sunglasses.

This is a great chippie for either a title or journal words. The butterfly at the edge of it I have stamped and fussy cut out.

Because my pages are so busy I decided to keep the chippies simple so they would standout. For my wording - NOTHING is impossible I chose to colour it with a dark burgundy Distress Marker.
For the Flourish I have used two different colours of green acrylic paint. First I solid painted it with a bright green and then I went and dry brushed on some aqua/green.
I think to do the chippies this way it makes them pop out from all the busyness around them.

Now for some more closeups and some of the other products I have used to create the page.

Products -
Dylusiond Paint
Archival ink
White journal Pen
Stamps
Stencils
Colour Markers
Texture Paste

Thanks for stopping in and please make sure you hop on over to the A2Z blog for loads more inspiration from the DT. Also join in the challenge with us by posting your page on the A2Z Facebook page. I look forward to seeing your creations.

Cards - Thinking of You and Love

Hello Crafty friends and welcome to my blog. It has been awhile since I have been able to post with the beautiful Meg's Garden papers, flowers and many other products. 2017 has been a hard year for my family with my son being extremely ill, my dad having some horrid heart issues and I have been sick as well. It has seen all three of us throughout the year spending some time in hospital.
Meg and the team have been a huge support to me and so understanding. I must say though it was great getting behind the desk and working with the beautiful French Chic Papers. They are so beautiful with soft colours.
This is the first of two cards I would love to show you and the products I used to create it.

French Chick Artist Card Pk1
Wooden birdcage
Brown ink

Now it's time for my second card.

Mini Square Doily (I have cut the outside of it off so as to still
see the beautiful flowers on the patterned papers)
Brown ink

These are the beautiful French Chic papers that I used designs two of, there are
four other designs I can't wait to create with.

I hope you have enjoyed popping in to look at my DT cards for Meg's Garden. Make sure you hop on over to the Meg's Garden blog to see the other creations from the Design Team members. There are beautiful products to see and wonderful inspiration.

Your Wings Were Ready

I wanted to share with you today my DT canvas created for A2Z Scraplets.
This is my beautiful Mum and the title is sad but so true. If you are looking for that special title for a loved one then yo can find it along with the others I have used and so many more over at the
A2Z Store.  For loads of inspiration and to see many different ways to work with you chipboards head on over to the A2Z blog. You can also join in with the monthly challenge over on Facebook.

The three chipboard I have used are all created using the same method. I first coloured them with a Distress Marker and then with my fingers I have rubbed over them with Viva Inka Gold. Not covering the whole chipboard. With the frame and title I used two colours and the vine I have used two plus some Viva 3D Stamp Paint, again with my finger (as I didn't want to stamp in it). I used this to make it a little different to the others as it had Metallic in it.

Some of the other products I used are -
Dylusions Paints
49 Market Flowers
Moderling Paste
Diamond Stencil
Black Ink Pen
White Paint
Brass Heart
 Script Stamp
Archival Ink - Jet Black
Viva Inka Gold
Distress Markers

It looks like there are a lot of different products but trust me that's only because I have used different coloured Dylusion paints (Which I rubbed on with my finger) and Viva Inka Gold in different Colours which you also rub on with your finger.

I hope you have enjoyed popping in to see the closeups and also to find out what other products I have used to create my canvas. I hope you all have a great weekend and please keep popping back I some more creations to show you real soon.

Christmas - Journal page

Hi and welcome to my blog and my final posting (maybe lol) for today. I would like to share with you a double journal page created at a class taught by my lovely friend Rhonda Crawford.

I had fun doing this page and when doing it the day was very hot and I must say there was nothing about doing a snow page that made me feel any cooler lol.
I do sometimes wish I could be in a place with snow for just one Christmas, never know it might happen one year. Maybe one of my boys will move and I will have to go there :)

Some of the products used -
Dylusions Paints
White Gesso
Versa Marker Pad
Opal Essence Embossing powder
Die Cuts

Glitters - Opal, Green, Silver, Gold, Light Blue, Mauve
Black and White Journal Pens
Archival Inks/ Distress Inks - or Ink Pens

So for me now it's off to the craft room. So many things I want to get done. You never know there might even be something new on my blog tomorrow if I don't get interruptions from the boys lol. If not you now know the reason.... Kids (lucky I love them so much) I'm in hope with this heat they will decide the outdoor spa is a good place to be.
Happy Crafting.
