Beautiful

I would like to share with you today my DT post for Off The Rails. You can find us over on Facebook to join in the fun.

This month is all about recycling and I have recycled the following items.
Sting of pearls
Pink shells from a bracelet
Beads from the bracelet
Bling flowers cut from a lace strip

Now for my page which is of my friends daughter Hayley and the photo was taken for her Deb. She looked just beautiful.
I used a mix of patterned papers and also a mix of flowers.

I chose to use the pinks, blues and whites from the mood board colours along with my recycled items.

I hope you like my page of Hayley and that you will come on over to Facebook and join in with us at Off The Rails for this awesome challenge. I look forward to seeing your creation.

Brothers

Huge welcome to my blog and my July DT posting for Sketchy Blog and you can find us over on Facebook. We have a great sketch for you this month and also an inspiration board. From the inspiration board I chose to use the colour blue and I turned the sketch.

Now for my take....

These two very handsome young adults are my sons Harley and Riley. I love the adults they are turning into. They make me so proud. I love so much though that the are so close. Don't get me wrong there are times when that bond can be stretched a little but at the end of the day they are best friends who love and would do anything for each other.... Ok so mum is having a little moment here :) lol

The patterned papers i have used are a mix of brands and I have wrote on them with a white journal pen the following word.

They have grown so much it is hard to believe they were once little. Where has the time gone...
It seems like yesterday they were crawling and learning to walk. I love these boys so much they are so strong & supportive.

I have fussy cut the stars from patterned papers and then used a black journal pen to go around the edges of each star.

Thanks so much for popping in and please hop on over to Facebook and join in with us.

Hair Journey

Hello crafty friends and welcome to my blog and this months DT challenge for Let's Get Sketchy
As you can see we have not only our sketch but a mood board to inspire you.

We have a great sketch and mood board and this is my take on it.
Yes the page is about me and my hair journey over the last couple of years... Plumb, Black and in the middle even though a black and white photo it is brown and blonde. Plus there is the added fringe. Personally I'm loving the fringe and much lighter colour.

Due to breast cancer and treatment I'm not ready to do a page of my latest look but I will soon enough. It is part of my life journey and I can talk about it and post photos but I'm not quite ready to scrap it. To be honest with how I have been feeling it's been a struggle to do my postings and now to even scrap. New medication I hope will help with that and maybe with doing a page with a new look me for awhile.

The products used are -
Patterned papers are Mintay by Karola Witczak
 Edge Punch
Chipboard Title

As most know I live to fussy cut and these papers are perfect for that. I have fussy cut all the flowers and summer fruit and also the cat. From the mood board I used the colours and added the summer look with the fruit and the fact that my photos were taken during the summer. I also was drawn by the red and blue.

Thank you so much for stopping in and please hop on over to the Let's Get Sketchy Blog and join in this months challenge fun with us. You could be this months lucky Guest Designer.
