Adore

Hello and a huge welcome to the month of Mothers, May and my DT post for WW1. We have another great challenge for you this month and would love to see you join in with us.

The photo I have used is of my youngest super cute son Harley taken in 2002.

I have used the colour Ice and from the moodboard I have used the colour and feathers.
I have taken different photos of my page in different light and I have tried different ways to get the ice blue and white to be the right colour with no success. Please trust me that both the colours are right as I have given up on this one as the white keeps looking like it has a blue tinge and the Ice is coming up way to blue. Grrrrr

The products I have used are -
White Cardstock
Kaisercraft Patterned Papers
Pram Die
Journal Pen
Distress Ink
Feather Die
Wood Veneer Title
Paint
Fussy Cut Embellishment

Thank you so much for popping in. Please stay safe and well and for all those mums out there enjoy Mothers Day the 2020 way, as best you can.

Beautiful.

Hello and as always welcome to my blog. I'm not sure how I managed to make this mistake but I have missed posting my page for Aprils challenge at Let's Get Sketchy. I'm so sorry. Here it is now.

The young girl in this photo is me. Wow now that is looking back many years.
The photo was taken by my dad as he used to do hobby photography back when I was young and also printed his own photos.

I have used patterned papers, a doily and a chipboard title. I have fussy cut the birds from the patterned papers.

Even though late, again sorry, I hope you like my page.

Beautiful

Hello and welcome to my blog as always. Well we have just finished another month and our world is still suffering and many have passed and people still morn for loved ones. I pray every single day for everyone to stay safe, for the loss of your loved ones and the passing of them on their own.It breaks my heart so much. Included in my prayers are for a quick find to a drug to helps and an end to suffering and pain associated with this. Please stay safe and well.

Now it's time for my DT May challenge over at Let's Get Sketchy.

I took the photo of these beautiful birds feeding when we were on a family holiday in Queensland. It was taken at a place called Thunderbird Park. They were everywhere and you could get so close to them. They were truly beautiful.

To create my background on the white cardstock I sprayed some Distress Spray ink on my messy mat and then placed my cardstock on top of it, making sure not to move it around so I could get the effect of the droplets of spray.

The products I used were -
White Cardstock
Wood Veeneer
Distress Spray Ink
Mix of Patterned Papers
Distress Ink
Fussy cut flowers from Patterned Papers

Thank you so much for popping in and please hop on over to the Let's Get Sketchy blog and join in with us on another great sketch. We would love to see what you come up with.

Awesome

Hello and welcome to my blog. I hope you are safe and well. Today I'm sharing with you my latest page created for this months challenge on Facebook at Corbett Creations.

The requirements for the challenge are -
Use the Words - Lose Yourself

This is my eldest son Riley taken some years ago. He just loves music and plays different instruments. So far he has played the piano, keyboard, guitar and the alto saxophone and the baritone saxophone which is his favorite out of the two saxes. He would now dearly love to learn how to play the  Hurdy Gurdy now. If you google it and listen it sounds fantastic. Maybe one day he will but right now it's his VCE that is most on his mind.

For the splats I have used both the ink (green) and the paint (Black)
The words I have used against the photo and also in my journaling.
The title Awesome is my wood Veneer and I painted it white.

The products I used are -
Patterned Papers
 Music Chippie - Scrap FX
Wood Veneer - Title (Painted White)
Stencil - TCW
Distress Spray Stain - Evergreen Bough
Dylusions Paint - Black and White
